What can I say?
It's raining, damp and cold. Baseball season is over. Gets dark early. If I wasn't doing this, I'd be cooking dinner.
LOL, Transformers.
Nifong as the colossal planet consuming robot?
Sorry, a self-appointed petty dictator with no actual power isn't much of a deterrent. But keep trying, maybe you can con some newbie.
Well if you're still here tell us AGAIN why you don't like CF.
You can post that you don't like CF as many times as you want so I don't know what you're mad about. I don't agree with you and I don't know why you'd want to keep saying it but it's not like someone is deleting your posts.
Your pony called. He's tired of his one trick and wants to learn another.
I didn't read all of the thousands of posts, but the attackers of the students keep saying "NO ONE DESERVES TO GET RAPED", though I couldn't figure out what they were responding to. Apparently, arguing that the rape didn't happen is seen as arguing that Precious deserved to get raped.
Also, I wish someone would point out that Precious's "identifications" may well have been made randomly, and even if some students at the party behaved rudely toward Precious, such behavior has nothing to do with the students who were actually charged. Bizarre and scary.
Did he start college at 15-16? What the heck? My son is a sophomore at Duke and he will be 20 in February. If he really is that young, it might explain his silly, poorly considered statements.
Ah, okay. I skipped to the end and paged randomly backward. Simplest explanation is that many people saw that post and responded before noticing that hundreds of other people had already done so.
BTW, another thing I was just pondering that nobody's mentioned: three is a "liar's number". When people are making up stories and need to pick a number out of a hat, three is the most common. While a person may sometimes be attacked by three real people, it's probably more common for people to be attacked by three fictitious people. Of course, attacks by one or two real people may be more common yet.
Ah!! I see. I didn't realize alot of the posts were in response to something like that. Thanks for clearing that up.
I'm not surprised that some people see white guys in button down shirts and say "guilty" but it's discouraging.
When there I knew several people who had skipped a year at one point or another and thus got to college at age 17. Back then it was a problem for them because they were under age for beer and wine. :)
I assume that was the case with this guy although skipping two years is pretty unusual.
I'm sorry, your responses seemed a bit effeminate to me. I apologize for that and mean no disrespect. Again, I'm a regular poster on Free Republic, but not on this particular forum. I'm not sure if that's offensive to you, but if so, I apologize for that as well. If you're getting a good laugh at the expense of someone who disagrees with you on one particular issue in this case, well, more power to you. But again, that seems more like something Mike Nifong would do.
I've stated earlier, a (NORMAL) investigator WANTS to pin down everyone - suspects - witnesses etc, very early in the game.
It was my experience that guilty guys asked for an attorney while innocent ones were saying "bring on the box", referring to the polygraph.
There was a case in California, which is not applicable to NC, but you'll see the thinking behind it, where an investigator, via a couple of simple phone calls, could have established a defendant's innocence. He failed to do so and the jury allowed $10,000 from his personal funds plus beau coup from his employer.
In Cali, cities have the option or not of paying personal judgments for officers who screw up.
Effeminate? My wife of 20 years would beg to differ. Anyway, what kind of woman would go by the name "Locomotive Breath"?
That kind of mistake comes judging people on (cough, cough) limited information.
You need to get out more. Seriously. Step away from the computer.
