(CBS) The three Duke lacrosse players indicted for a rape they say they didn't commit are indignant over the effect the charges are having on their lives and their families.
In their first interviews, they speak to Ed Bradley this Sunday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

Travis is really wacky.
Wacky????? His train left the station a long time ago.
Baby girl is a 'good girl.' She wouldn't make up something like that.
If Rita asked him if she would steal a car and try to run over a cop, what would he say?

Crystal had her phone at 12:26 because she called Centerfold, and she has it in the 12:30 photos, imo.

I almost feel sorry for Travis, but I do feel contempt for Rita.
IMHO, she is exploiting him. He knows nothing and she knows he knows nothing. Nothing newsworthy in that interview. He is still clueless. He is still ignorant.
This had nothing to do with Precious and Duke and everything one upping Ed Bradley.
To: ltc8k6
Rita should be ashamed of this interview.

I agree. Travis seems perpetually confused but Rita knows exactly what she is doing.
To: SarahUSC
I might just have to email her and tell her what I think.

On the Talk Left board I read a post last night that mentioned another poster saying a Prosecution Individual goes to the clubs.
They might be talking about C. Destine he is a ADA. He likes the WWF and is a MILF man. He graduated with Magnum and is said to hang out at the clubs.

Rita dragging out poor, clueless Travis to rehash his own inconsistent statements. He hasn't seen or heard from his daughter in months, except in passing at a stoplight.
He can't believe she's still stripping. "She's a good girl." Oy! Someone needs to drive Travis on down to the Platinum Club.

Even if CF is an unmitigated jerk, which most of us believe he is not, and wonder how you could form that conclusion based on one incident in his life, based on that make the argument that he's a rapist.
But that's the whole point of Free Republic. Somebody posts an interesting news item and Freepers have a great time commenting on the characters involved. If there's a story about a man who's accused of killing his wife, some Freepers read the story and insist he's a no good bum who is as guilty as sin, others are just as adamant he's an angel who's innocent. If there's an item about a kid being punished by his school for a particular incident, many Freepers applaud the school administrators as upstanding educators while others denounce them as morons. It happens every day with almost every thread. In August there was a story about CNN anchor Kyra Phillip's and her on air comments about her husband and her brother's wife. This is what you had to say:
My "Wife-to-English Dictionary" translates this as "I'm lucky to have a doormat for a husband. He does what I tell him." And then she goes on to complain about her sister in law being a control freak!
Using your reasoning, How could you form that conclusion based on one single, solitary comment from her life? And, yes, I realize my comments are not relevant to whether Finnerty is guilty of rape or not, but so what. If you truly have read every post on this thread as you claim, then you should know there are dozens of comments that have absolutely nothing to do with the lacrosse players' guilt.

I remember the Bennett connection and it was mentioned in the long Washington Post feature article on this mess. I do not remember what the relationships was.

Wow - what a lot of work - that explains why you took so long to answer. How old is that thread?
The topic of that prior thread was ABOUT the character of the woman involved and what she said. And only that. And that's what my post addressed. If, on the basis of her remark, I had gone on to say "I'll bet she puts puppies in blenders" that would have been just as much of a non sequitur as you thinking that CF's behavior in D.C. had any relevance to a thread on whether he's a rapist.
You said you didn't like CF, we said "so what - we like him", and you said you don't like CF several more times trying to convince us that we shouldn't like him either. What's your point?

Bennett is a cousin of LAX player John Walsh.

I'm sorry, I have to to work- I can't dedicate my life to one thread. I didn't realize there's a statute of limitations on judging a person based on one incident in their life- comments can come back to haunt you if you're not consistent. Again, re-read the current thread and you'll see there are dozens of posts that have nothing to do with the lacrosse players' guilt. Since you obviously have so much time on your hands, perhaps you can chastise each one of them for not following your thread rules. I didn't realize there was a posting quota in your threads. Please let me know what it is, so I don't violate your Free Republic guidelines. If you're not interested in allowing an opinion that doesn't toe the line with yours, I suggest you apply for a position with Mike Nifong.
