Even if CF is an unmitigated jerk, which most of us believe he is not, and wonder how you could form that conclusion based on one incident in his life, based on that make the argument that he's a rapist.
But that's the whole point of Free Republic. Somebody posts an interesting news item and Freepers have a great time commenting on the characters involved. If there's a story about a man who's accused of killing his wife, some Freepers read the story and insist he's a no good bum who is as guilty as sin, others are just as adamant he's an angel who's innocent. If there's an item about a kid being punished by his school for a particular incident, many Freepers applaud the school administrators as upstanding educators while others denounce them as morons. It happens every day with almost every thread. In August there was a story about CNN anchor Kyra Phillip's and her on air comments about her husband and her brother's wife. This is what you had to say:
My "Wife-to-English Dictionary" translates this as "I'm lucky to have a doormat for a husband. He does what I tell him." And then she goes on to complain about her sister in law being a control freak!
Using your reasoning, How could you form that conclusion based on one single, solitary comment from her life? And, yes, I realize my comments are not relevant to whether Finnerty is guilty of rape or not, but so what. If you truly have read every post on this thread as you claim, then you should know there are dozens of comments that have absolutely nothing to do with the lacrosse players' guilt.

Wow - what a lot of work - that explains why you took so long to answer. How old is that thread?
The topic of that prior thread was ABOUT the character of the woman involved and what she said. And only that. And that's what my post addressed. If, on the basis of her remark, I had gone on to say "I'll bet she puts puppies in blenders" that would have been just as much of a non sequitur as you thinking that CF's behavior in D.C. had any relevance to a thread on whether he's a rapist.
You said you didn't like CF, we said "so what - we like him", and you said you don't like CF several more times trying to convince us that we shouldn't like him either. What's your point?
