(CBS) The three Duke lacrosse players indicted for a rape they say they didn't commit are indignant over the effect the charges are having on their lives and their families.
In their first interviews, they speak to Ed Bradley this Sunday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

There was no reason whatsoever to drop the whole lacrosse season, not with the commitment made to other teams and with the many guys willing to play as walk-ons. Some of will disagree with me, but IMHO Broadhead and Nifong are worse that just incompetent and stupid.
You're welcome. Good luck.
Don't worry about her pal... she was run off of the CTV board and now she thinks she owns this one... You just have to figure out who you can feed and who you can't...
Stay away from personally attacking your fellow freepers and freep away... You are correct this is the FREErepublic.. go for it...
Some of them look disgusted, as should be. They paid $800 and got screwed, (figuratively).
should have been "make the argument that it's relevant to whether he's a rapist"
Will the Miami and FIU football seasons be suspended?
(no.)
Somehow I doubt it. If fact, Miami coach was saying publicly what great kids the players are and so far not a peep out of the president - at least her comments, if any, were not reported on my paper's sports pages.
There's some more info and clips here. There are also some comments on the show. Some of them are pretty unbelievable. I think some people are determined to believe the players are guilty no matter what. They resent them because they are wealthy, intelligent and athletic. That's where it begins and ends for them.
If this goes to trial I hope they have a very good jury consultant.

Yahoo's Comment Page should be labeled Personal Predjudices On Parade
Yeah, somebody gets it!
The term BLACKBALLED comes to mind!
We all saw the same program. How can you account for the differences of opinion?
That is an absolute lie. I personally invited her here.
Holy crap; I see the "Ellen Jamieson" contingent has finally found a place to post their vile drivel!
My view is that some people want to believe they are guilty and they just won't pay attention to facts. Also there was so much negative publicity early on that this 60 Minutes piece, as good as it was, was still just one positive piece up against about 10,000 negative ones.
The players were presumed guilty from the start and it takes alot to undo that. That's one of the reasons I've taken the time to continually post on this case. They need as much support as possible.
My opinion is that Jezebelle doesn't have to worry about L.E. being in any danger here. Most of America is still untouched and believes. That's a good thing.
The other good thing is that perhaps, just perhaps, if it happens to someone else, they'll know what and what not to do. The light should be shined on this. The boys will win their case, of that I have no doubt. The pain and misery they've endured will last, but like a death of a loved one, grow easier to live with in time. They have just buried the last of their youth and will need time to grieve. I will believe that, in time, it will pass. Let's all pray that, anyway.
Without stating their policy, CBS did not name CGM on 60 Minutes. See post #127 where CGM is named. CBS is not paying attention to their comments!
You're braver than me. I couldn't get that far in the comments. LOL.
Hey, all I have is my own experiences to base my conclusion on.
And in my personal experience it happened to me 100% of the time.
I don't know. Convicting three innocent people just because you trust law enforcement would probably not sit well with a good law enforcement officer. They don't want to see innocent people go to jail.
Most law enforcement is good but there are some really bad apples on this case.
