(CBS) The three Duke lacrosse players indicted for a rape they say they didn't commit are indignant over the effect the charges are having on their lives and their families.
In their first interviews, they speak to Ed Bradley this Sunday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

I wonder how unusual it is for an indictment to be brought down without ever having SPOKEN to ANY of the accused.
You have FreepMail
Although we already knew this...
Reade saying on National TV that he had never been questions by the PD or the DA.
To me this is as huge as anything, except the tape of CGM dancing.
typos sorry :)
questions=questioned
Don't confuse people with the facts.
And Finnerty gets punched in the back of the head and knocked down--which is odd unless he was walking away from his assailant.
There you go again. :)
Bingo!
Actually, I was incorrect, the "victim" was not alone but with a friend when the altercation occurred. My original post was in response to an earlier post where the poster said she wouldn't mind having sons like Reade, David and Collin. I then gave my opinion about each of them. Amazingly, Finnerty refused to testify in his own trial.
The problem down here is that NOBODY seems to be giving a fair and balanced view in our local media.
It's like everybody's walking on edge about the entire thing: I was surprised when WRAL, after running that great 60 Minutes show, had a professor from NCCU. (Well, I really wasn't THAT surprised.)
Good post, CF.
There's nothing happened in any courtroom anywhere, so far, that has given me to believe that any of the three boys has ever instigated anything physically harmful to another person out of anger, maliciousness or being a "punk."
O/T: I have wondered for some time what would have happened to 2 white girls hired by 30 black NCCU basketball players to strip if they were paid $800 for 2 hours and quit after 5 minutes.
Unlike Woodward or any democrat with a book to peddle, O'Reilly is not being asked to appear on the book circuit shows... Larry King Live (a competitor) or Oprah.
I never saw it happen in the 32 years I was on the job.
From the legal talking heads I have heard...including several prosecutors...it is pretty strange. Much more usual to speak with the suspect/accused. And in this case his attorney was practically beating the door down with exculpatory evidence as well as wanting his client to sit down with Nifong, but they were totally rebuffed.
He's not a punk. Actually, he strikes me as being shy. My brothers all got into these kinds of street fights. This is life - you don't have to be perfect.
"Amazingly, Finnerty refused to testify in his own trial."
Lawyers will advise you to do that if you have another trial pending, since anything you say there can and will be used against you later. If his lawyers let him testify in that misdemeanor trial, they would have been grossly negligent.
Well said, as always.
I am glad it is on tape, and I know he wouldn't have said it on national TV if it were not 100% accurate!
Have a feeling that Nifong might have threatened this chick and SHE called 60 minutes and offered the info to cover her butt. Int the meantime, she had gotten that little bonus from Nifong on her previous record.
Let's choose up sides. I'll take paternity for RS, DE, and CF. YOU can have paternity of Nifong, Mangum and Roberts.
It's one thing for us to speculate about these things; it's quite another to hear it from one of the players' own mouths, isn't it?
On the advice of his lawyer.
Buy a clue.
