My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly
and wing my way through the sky
I would never be shy
just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind
chase the comets tail for fun
by day we would hide from the sun
our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use
fireflies as our guide
we would dip and we would glide
through the heavens open wide
and scatter diamonds in the night sky
my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers
silent in the night...
to kiss their face in our flight
much to their surprise and delight
my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share
away up here in the air
of breezes soft through our hair
my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Well, considering the lateness of my return post, I can only assume you managed to get your chores out of the way.
We spent a good part of the day with Jim Robinson and his wife and son engaged in a rally to support our troops here in Chico. Afterwards we had dinner at our local Logan's Roadhouse. We had a great time together.

Just hanging around in general, watching some old movies.
I'm a nut for old black and white movies, (20's-30's). The decor is usually Art Deco which I do enjoy. I also enjoy mystery, and cloak and dagger stuff. ;)
Oh, of course, Chivalry, and Heraldry, filled with dragons and dragon slayers. I always feel badly when the dragon is slain.
I write of Dragonflies, and this time of year they are long gone, not in my head though....hehehe...

Hi everybody! Well I've had a shocking epiphany! I think I'm quite done with Asia! Yes, I couldn't believe it myself, I was all set to spend another 10 years here. But, due to some complicated philosophical and personal insights I arrived at this weekend, and due to the fact that I have "that feeling" again, the one that says I'm not seeing anything new, the same feeling that caused me to quit technology and spend the last four years in Asia, well now it says that I've absorbed everything Asia had to teach me.
It also says that the pieces I was looking for when I left the good old US are now in place, and I can go back home and continue to develop as I wish regardless of where I move to, and that our superior system of laws and individual rights affords near unlimited opportunity to grow as we wish, all one needs is a chosen direction, and I guess I'm saying that I'm satisfied that I have that really well established now!
The only downer is that I don't even have anywhere close to the money for my farm getaway, bummer! But then, the factors that made me want a farm getaway in the first place now seem to be irrelevant, so I guess that works out well!
Well, the others will be here shortly so I must go. But I'm thinking of moving to India, spending six months or so earning some heavy duty industry certifications, then getting back into the corporate groove, but this time with an unassailable, secret spirituality hidden deeply inside! (my secret plan all along, BWAHAHAHAHA)
