If your idea of fun is whirling around on a dizzying carnival ride, astronomers have found a stellar adventure that would stop you in your tracks. A sizzling-hot star is spinning around at near break-up velocity, according to a new study.

Okay, since X-Planets refers to various planets X, extrasolar planets, and thirdly, exploding planets, this topic is a bit related, as VanFlandern discusses his overspin fission (non-nuclear fission) as the origin of the Moon. :') Long way around, but the view is great, eh?
