best show yet this season, the Intersection could be interesting if it pushed someone to last 'cause no one would work with them.

Stamps are the most used tool in their government. LOL! What if the Madagascar version of TAR came to the U.S. and had to scour Washington, D.C. for the most used tool in our government. What would they be looking for?

They'd be sent on a hunt for a stack of $100 bills hidden in a row of hundreds of identical freezers. Or a missing Democrat House intern buried somewhere in this State park. Or they could scuba for Senate aides in a row of sunken automobiles.

I'd rather ponder the useful tool as in "who", not "which".

Same here. Hey, does anyone question this running-out-of-gas scenario? Think it's a set-up by the producers?

Episode #8: Antananarivo, Madagascar

Apologies for the late and abbreviated recap this week.
You can read the full CBS recap HERE

BEAUTY QUEENS STAY ON TOP;
DAVID & MARY OUT

Making their way to Madagascar, Teams encountered a new twist in the race, the Intersection, forcing two Teams to work together. After successfully teaming with the Cho brothers, beauty queens Dustin & Kandice surged ahead to claim another first place, while coal miner and wife David & Mary couldn't overcome their 30-minute penalty becoming the sixth Team eliminated from the race.

Thanks! Don't worry about the abbreviated version. Things have been crazy lately! Try not to stay too busy, though. :)

Three separate taxis run out of gas?

I smell fish...or maybe it's the cow lips.

I was sorry to see Team KY go out. They were entertaining. At least they got to see the world, quickly, but they saw some of it.

Yes, somewhat reminiscent of the plane that was held so a couple could get on board. It's probably no secret that these things are set up and improvised as the plot thickens.
I couldn't watch the cow lips feast. Barf-o-rama.

(((TAR Ping)))

Episode #9

"Being Polite Sucks Sometimes"

A challenging Roadblock requires
players to stay calm in a claustrophobic setting; one team jumps in front of another in the taxi line.

The race resumes tonight at 8pm EST, after football and 60 Minutes

As always, if you want on or off this ping list, just let me know.

With the time change, and daylight hours getting briefer, it seems like it should be almost time for the show...Accchh, it's still Three and a half hours till it starts.

On Fear Factor if you puke you lose that task

Exactly. IMO, not that anyone asked, but it should be they must down it all. If some comes up, it must be eaten again until it's all gone.

In D.C. it would be... well, ask BJ.

Perhaps, but it seems to be a way of life over there. Maybe the ticker keeps ticking and ticking and ticking the minutes away as the cabbie puts in a half gallon so the passengers have to pay for the time rather than by miles.

I wondered that too, but then I can see how perhaps they put in small amounts of fuel as they can afford it. I would like to know how the contestants spend their down time. Such as do they eat their meals together and do they stay in comfy luxury hotels.
