For What It's Worth
(snip)
Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid
You step out of line, the man come and take you away

We better stop, hey, what's that sound
Everybody look what's going down.
----
Little did Stephen Stills know how right his song would be all these years later. (p.s. this song was NOT about Vietnam)

For What It's Worth

That song along with "Signs", "Summertime Blues" and a couple others always flash me back to how much of a US v. THEM (the man) mentality there was during that time.

It's very painful to see those times returning.... Maybe they never really left...

Teen tapes confession to killing

Alvaro Castillo apologizes, says movie violence,
school massacres and abuse at home shaped him

HILLSBOROUGH - On a homemade video, Alvaro Castillo confesses
to shooting his father four times, then walks into a room and records
the sheet-draped corpse.

"Look at me. I'm not even crying. I just killed him, and I feel fine," the
Hillsborough teenager says into the camera.

* Well at least Durham is not the source of all the problems around here.

Takes me back.

Stephens Stills was my favorite way back when. Still is. His music is timeless.
