For your bookmarking assistance, this is a reference list of links to the Aug 2006 or newer Free Republic threads on the topic of the JonBenet Ramsey murder case and the possible arrest of John Mark Karr as a suspect in her murder.
I'll come back to that one.
She couldn't reach the cabinet where the pull-up package was pulled out.
Per LKL (CNN) - Karr's lawyers are requesting a hearing before any DNA testing is done.
It will be interesting to hear what you know b/c I don't understand what the controversy about the underwear is all about, other than the fact that they're too large (and who knows why that was).
No, not really. It may be illegal soon to feed your child a cheeseburger. Or smoke a cigarette in the same house as a child. Or parade a young girl in revealing clothes.
Laws change based on social conditions.
I understand your point. I was obviously using more extreme examples to make mine. They aren't apples and oranges. They are different points on a continuum. What's legal today may be illegal tomorrow.
You're evading my underlying question. Is it *always* okay not to judge the parents in the way they raise their child?
Boulder Judge Issues Gag Order on all attorneys & law enforcement in case - Per LKL (CNN)
I didn't see it, but they may be talking about letters sent snail mail to Patsy that were forwarded unopened to the BDA or the photo Karr sent to Tracey (but may have been electronic, not sure about that) allegedly of himself as a child with a white Santa bear similar to the one in JonBenet's room.
She never had before that night.
Obviously when you see a parent harming a child you should be concerned, but passing judgement on a mother who puts her child in little girl pageants is rediculous!
I think we should all get drunk and see if it helps us think outside the box in figuring out how the evidence fits together. The most creative post wins!
yes, I had heard silverman talk about the letter - tonight, he called it a "package", but it could well be the same incident.
I'll toast to that!
It may be something else besides the photo, then. If it's the pointy end of the paintbrush, then I guess we're done here!
cheers!
Eewwwwww - that's tantalizing. The point end of the paint brush. Maybe that's what he has...
How do you know?
Yes, and there's something funny about the underwear. They were way too large. Either a clueless adult put them on or she did.
but if they are too large, who do they belong to? did they find other pairs in that same size when they searched her room?
I posted yesterday that I thought the killer had kept the missing portion of the paint brush as a trophy....and that was before I was drinking!
