Yes, brother with same mother, don't think any other brother with father. No idea about the 'brother who worked for the Ramsey's', but since they are all in Atlanta, and the father did some remodeling/construction work on his own rental property, would stand to reason it's possible that Nate did some work in that field too.
It isn't getting weaker, it's just static.
A judge had to agree to the issuing of the arrest warrant that brought him back from Thailand. The DA presented an affadavit to the judge to go along with the warrant request. According to a Media report I saw, the affadavit for reasons to arrest Karr was somewhere between 50 and 80 pages.
The DA issued a statement saying that material in the affadavit is being kept sealed by order of the judge and at her request, because it contains material not known to the public and important material to pursuing justice in the case.
We'll just have to wait and see what she's got and what conclusions she reaches and I'm prepared to accept it...with the caveat, unless something comes up to show she's not honest or competent. If a trial ensues, I'll pay attention to the trial to see if I agree with the outcome.
I'm not forgetting that Karr claims to have been with JonBenet when she died. HELLO! Is anyone home?? What kind of DA would ignore such declarations.
I cannot speak for what happened when CA passed along what it had on Karr to Boulder back 5 yrs. ago. I hear there's controversy about that and I don't know the facts.
But now, this guy must be ruled in or out, to the best of our system's ability to do so.

Unless Nate is outright lying, and not merely spinning to "help" out John, I think we could rule out Nate as being the one John could have referred to. The other option is that John made it up about there being any brother he went with to a party at the Ramseys.
BTW, it has been stated by those with knowledge that these "brothers" weren't on the party guest list, that everyone at the party was someone close to the Ramseys, and that everyone there knew who everybody else was. It has also been stated that there's no evidence a brother of John ever worked for John Ramsey.
FReeper bonfire brought up the thought that could they have been working at the party in some capacity, not guests, and the thought was, working in connection to the party, NOT working in construction. I've not seen any other speculation on this.
Until this is explained by facts of the case being exhaustively pursued and such crucial ?? answered, I'm just in a "wait and see" mode.
Absolutely. I don't disagree at all with bringing him in and sorting out the facts. Karr almost seems to be begging them to do so.
I just see all this hyperventilation in the media over him when I've yet to see any tangible evidence linking him to the crime other than his own words. If they had something solid, *somebody* has usually leaked it by now. Either congrats to the DA's office for being tight-lipped or they really have a suspect without much of a case.

In other words. Mother & Father have older brother and John. Mother and father divorce and father remarries and has Nate.

Just saw Rita Cosby breathlessly reporting that she has spoken with a former classmate of John's. I only got in on the end of this...apparently the woman says Karr told her details about how he got into the Ramseys house and was able to do what he did the night of the murder, or at least he told her he could easily explain that to her.
Seems he must have been commenting to her in a way that indicated he killed JonBenet. This was BEFORE he was picked up in Thailand. After he was picked up, she subsequently contacted an investigator with the Boulder authorities and has told him of the statements Karr made to her.
Sorry I can't tell more...did anyone else see the whole thing??

I don't know about the relationship he had with his father as my side was divorced from them a long time ago. If anything, I would think it would have been talked about because he was so protecting and overbearing of his wives (obviously as reported by his wives). Most of my contact came through funerals or other family functions later in life and since airfare would have been involved, it was usually him by himself. But I can see it being a big deal for John to be absent from his kids. At some point he loved them tremendously. When the mental illnes started taking over, I think he removed himself from them and the love for them. Just my layman observation mind you.
At anyrate, I don't see why everyone is focusing on Christmas morning. What about afternoon and evening. That is when most families disperse. Who's to say Lara's parents didn't like John that much, but she wanted to let the kids go see their other Grandma and Grandpa and she took them alone. I just don't know.

I got in on the last of her report. I thought from hs. But someone he was in contact with AFTER the murder, to him he apparently made incriminating comments. At first she didn't know how to take it and hoped what he said wasn't true. Then when she learned of his arrest, she called the investigation in Boulder and told them what John had said to her. Now Rita Cosby has spoken with her, but I think she didn't want to appear on tv. Can't say I blame her.
