For your bookmarking assistance, this is a reference list of links to the Aug 2006 or newer Free Republic threads on the topic of the JonBenet Ramsey murder case and the possible arrest of John Mark Karr as a suspect in her murder.
1997.
This concern for transportation from the airport seems futile. Who's to say he flew into Boulder?
its the alternate method to driving, that's all.
Do you truly think taxicab records from the airport on Christmas Day to dinstinations in Boulder can be traced to any particular cash paying customer? Furthermore, that the driver of the cab could possibly identify said passenger?
I could see him getting from the airport to the house by cab. but how did he get back? you can't just walk out into the street in that neighboorhood and hail a cab on christmas night. you would have to call ahead and tell them to come pick you up.
You may be right. There have been numerous pathologists who have looked at this case, some famous and some not so famous. Some of them retained by the BPD, some not. Either way, it's up to the reader to decide which ones they want to believe. Some of us are invested in a particular conclusion and will advance that conlusion regardless of which pathologist said what, or what evidence exists for our conclusion.
Planes are not necessarily full on Christmas Day, but they are jammed packed on Christmas Eve. I seriously doubt this man took an airplane to a city unfamiliar to him and then worried about trying to get to the house undetected without leaving a trail.
IF it's Karr, he more than likely drove, so he could find a discreet parking place near the house after he located the house.
Furthermore, if kidnapping was on his mind, he'd need his own transportation.
Add a little "expense" money for John, and he eats, sleeps and travels for free....maybe with someone else's credit card.
I'm in NYS. The old news ads always made a big deal about "southern cars" because of the salt use up here in NYS.
Good thinking!!!
There ya go! More good thinking by you.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not suggesting this guy did that. I kinda doubt he did at this point. But I was asked how you could do it and I know from living there that you can just call a number and they'll pick you up. He could have walked into town from university hill (where the Ramseys lived) and made the call. It's possible, I just doubt that he was ever there.
he could have been there Christmas morning and spent some of the day with everyone before taking off to Boulder somehow. I see this a likely senario because they don't remember a Christmas without him there. This may be true, but Karr's family probably is just thinking of Christmas Eve and Christmas morning, not the rest of the day.

Not sure what you mean, there. No, I don't and I agree with you.
Was Karr still in the car dealership in 1996?
The dealership would have been closed on Christmas Day so arrangements for keys would have had to have been made and made in advance, so perhaps nobody from the dealership ever saw him.
I know this has been discussed a bit already but can you summarize for me? What's the time frame that JMK has been pinned to so far as to his whereabouts? I mean, what's the latest date prior to the murder and where was it; and what's the earliest date after the murder, and where was that?
Yelp...No one to identify him....and an alibi from his wife/family.
Now who do we direct the right questions to?????
How about you sending an e-mail to that one GOOD reporter who's always on the news? Now think of his name...lol.
