An arrest in the JonBenet Ramsey case is due to happen "shortly," according to sources in our newsroom -- I know I can't post the link to our site (we're a Gannett station, and despite the "ban", I would welcome the traffic), but most of you know where I work and what the site is...
According to our sister station in Denver, an arrest took place early this morning in Thailand.
Stand by for details and updates as they come in.
I get upset about this because there but for the luck and well locked homes, go any of us.
If the Ramseys would have been a poor family, with no ability to get great lawyers, Patsy would have died in prison.
Fox is saying the FBI has been verifying this guy's claims for the last two months.
"And my faith in my own ability to size up people would be shaken."
Hmmmm. Who just said "feelings aren't all that reliable"??
Yeah, Karl Rove pulls the strings on just about everything -- he got the Thai police to make this arrest now for the "timing"...... Good Lord, those DU-bozos and Kos-freaks truly are psychotic.
The Denver Post has the 2nd grad teacher story up on their website.

Fox lisited the name as John Karr.
WOWZERS.
Thailand.
We'll find out how good the current news leaks are
So you think Carr is a fall guy? The Boulder police set this up to protect the Ramseys.
Now that is some seriously desperate Ramsey-hating. You should get an award.
Mickey Sherman (another talking-head lawyer) married her not long ago, yuk.
He's from Georgia...the Ramseys moved back there after JonBenet's death.......I would like to see the connection to Boulder..
John Carr .... not Paul Carr
Anyone who would think a parent murdered her daughter because of the pagents is an idiot.
People blamed Patsy because they did not like her, and probably resented her lifestyle. She was perceived as a rich bitch.
And for that, they accused her of murder.
BTTT
Everyone sizes up people, and I don't base it on feelings. Its words, action, etc...
I think there are several award winners out there.
You are not alone.
My son-in-law used to do a lot of high school coaching, baseball, basketball... but won't anymore for that very same reason.
I'm not going to be satisfied until I know the details of how this teacher committed the murder and what motivated him to write a long, rambling ransom note instead of just getting out of the house. Why $118,000?
I also want to know how he's connected to the Ramseys because he's obviously not a stranger to them.
There's a lot of unanswered questions here.
I do know that this suspect was known to the family and a name that Patsy Ramsey gave to the authorites which at that time was completely ignored.
The authorities had tunnel vision.
