Panelist Webster Tarpley makes the claim in his book, 9/11 Synthetic Terror, that 9/11 was a coup d'etat by a financier elite to force George W. Bush into a "war of civilizations."

The panel agreed that this invisible government war party goes back perhaps to the 1846 Mexican war, certainly to the USS Maine and the Spanish American War of 1898, and has arranged more and more frequent "false-flag" provocations since the Gulf of Tonkin and the Israel/Palestine crisis.

They also accused this "string-pulling elite" of using terror to restrict traditional constitutional freedoms.

I'm dissapointed that Alex Jones is MC'ing this. Prof. Steven Jones is the real deal, a fact based conservative. Having him in the same company with AJ is tarnishing his work. AJ never met a camera or a conspiracy he didn't like and his credibility suffers from it. But if this show piques the interest of people to check out Prof. Jones work at the 9/11 Scholars for Truth website, then it's a net positive.

Puh-leeze. It fails just about every basic logical test. Especially the leetle detail about how such a massive conspiracy could be kept leak-free for five years after it happened.

You call that a retort? How many hundreds, if not thousands, of people would have to have been in on such a conspiracy? How come no one noticed the details as they were being put together?

I've read the various conspiracy theories. They make no sense - for example, the planes hit the two towers at different levels and in different areas horizonatally as well. The collapses started the exact areas where the planes hit - I saw the live video. You would have us believe that someone either someone could have snuck into the two towers and placed thermite charges (without being noticed), or have pre-placed such charges IN EXACTLY THE PLACES WHERE THE PLANES WERE TO HIT and have those charges and timers remain IN WORKING ORDER.

Bullcrap. But your only retort to clear critical analysis is to proclaim we are dolts who suspend judgement. Guess what, nutbar? I saw a National Geographic special on crop circles and how they are man-made. And the true believers in that department had the same superior attitude about the skeptics, despite overwhelming facts to the contrary. Why? Because this crap has become your religion. And those criticizing the dogma are labelled heretics or apostates. No matter how much sense their criticism makes, they are labelled with such to avoid the facts they fling in your direction.
