DURHAM, N.C. -- Officials say they are investigating an alleged assault involving Durham police officers outside a Raleigh bar.
(Excerpt) Read more at wral.com ...
Yeah, I am coming around to it being impossible. I checked and as you say Himan is not mentioned being at the key lineup.
As I have said, I am not a conspiracy guy. So unless something really deep is going on, it was merely cops showing their butts.
How much (if any) of Pleaure Ryde's bio coincides w/ the real Crystal? West Indian heritage, NYC, etc?
Yep, but I'm not inclined it's the first time in their life that they've thrown punches at some guy at a bar - and made ugly comments.
Think maybe, being Cops, they don't fear drinking and driving? Or Drinking and stomping?
I just looked at the HTML source code and didn't spot any (calendar) dates. There were, however, several "dates".
Remember recently when Crystal's father was on TV and said they hadn't heard from her, and they were worried about her? I wonder what he would think if we gave him her telephone number and said "We located her!" and get a news crew to show his reaction? LOL! I would also like to send it the the church that was out demonstrating at 610 Buchanan Street in the early days, demanding a conviction of the Duke players without a trial.
I wonder if any of the links on her site are the same as any on C. Destine Couch potato's? I'm not in the mood to check it! LOL!
When she was booked I think Crystal was reported to be 5'4" and over 150 pounds.
Her parents did say she had lost a lot of weight. Of couse they also said she had ovarian cancer last year and it was cured by a miracle.
Charlotte is a natural place for her to turn up. Not too far up Interstate 85, the next BIG city. Plenty of "opportunties"
I don't think the girls, or the businesses, have any problems with cheating on the statistics (heigth, weight, etc.). They aren't standing up for long anyway.
From the first pictures I saw, I thought she looked 6 feet tall and weighed 300 pounds. But then again, I didn't pay attention because I was tossing cookies.
"you can't go wrong with this adorable Charlotte NC escort!"
What could POSSIBLY go wrong???
"Basically, I'm a harmless nut. "
Harmless?!? LOL!
I'll be looking for her at the Paper Doll or maybe the BaDaBing - right off of I85.
Of course she might be at Leather and Lace.
Fer sur she's not at Coyote Joe's.
You are very bad!
Did I hear a rumor you have a red mid-life crisis sports car?
It is not red. But yes.
I'm outa here for tonight. I'll leave you with this. You can guess who his the Punk and who is the Godfather.
Yes, methinks I've seen that tattooed bicep before.....
Standing on the back porch of 610, for those who haven't made the connection.
The tatoo in the picture from the back porch has been intentionally smudged in the released pics, just like her face...
So, it was 5 or 6 Durham Cops - but only 2 were suspended - Gottlieb and Clayton.
In addition to the F- you, Ni**er comment - they called him BOY. I suspect the Cook is older than the Cops, but he was called BOY.
The Media would be calling out the National Guard if they were conflicted due to the Duke case.
And the victim said one of the Durham Cops apologized and said the other Cops that assaulted him were DRUNK.
There it is:
Racial Intimidation, Drunk Driving, assault, Racial slurs, reckless driving
alleged

Two hundred comments, Melanie. Just wanted to say...wish you were here.
Let's clear up any misunderstandings. We do not expect you to be a fulltime blogger. We do not expect an answer to every question we pose. We do not expect you to fall off your chair at each "brillant" suggestion.we make. ...
Nor to answer questions posed with disrespect. Fair enough. But we expect you to respond ..occasionally.
We expect an Editor who respects her readership....and shows it by engaging.
An Editor who feels a responsibility to her readership....and shows it by responding.
One who understands in this new journalism you may not impose a monologue which, in essence , Melanie...you have done here.
We expect an Editor who understands that an occasional answer to the complexities of your coverage in regard to this case.is ..at the very least..your obligation to us.
Your silence does not serve you well. It does not serve the News and Observer well. It does not serve your readership well. Silence feeds the conspiracy theorists.
Silence perpetuates misunderstanding. Silence may be construed as arrogance, or even fear.
Why would an Editor who writes that her duty is to have her reader "armed with information" decide to leave 200 comments un-answered?
You promised to revisit our very limited dialogue when there were new developments in the case. Well, the parties have been back in court, new motions have been made, the two detectives on the case have been suspended in a racially charged incident.
Do the owners and publishers of this newspaper believe that you can speak AT us...and yet refuse to speak TO us? Do you as Editor believe you are above a civil question or respectful reproach?
Two hundred comments.
And growing.
Wish you were here.

Wow. If Gottlieb and Clayton are two of the officers involved in this incident this is a major story to say the least. It really makes me wonder what else they've been up to.
For all the hoopla about Collin Finnerty's streetfight in DC, one fact stands out. He never actually hit anyone. He's also 19 years old. These cops are grown men and they're.....police officers. And they actually made physical contact. Unbelievable.
Out here in Los Angeles, the LAPD has a motto - "To protect and serve". This makes people roll their eyes occasionally. I don't know what the DPD's motto is but I doubt it's supposed to be "To slur and punch". And that's before you even get into their actions in the Duke case which smacks of some major railroading. What a mess. Somebody should clean it up.

Alleged Police Assault Victim Speaks WTVD By Tim Nelson (snippet)
But the alleged victim says the truck then stopped and a man inside yelled a racist comment.
"And that's when he comes out with 'f you n-word," he explained.
No, in Durham they're sworn to " PROTECT AND STOMP "
Melanie deleted two of my posts over there on those blogs.
What a newspaper! ABC stepped in and did the right thing.
