My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

When a true genius appears in the world you may know him by this sign; that all the dunces are in confederacy against him. - Johathan Swift
Both madmen and geniuses see something that no one else does. The difference, of course, is whether or not it's actually there. - Michael Wikoff

A genius is often called mad
I am glad no one has ever called me genius.
Been called alot of things, mad as a hatter is good.
Crazy as a loon in a lagoon, is cool.
LOL!

Well now it's morning, what a refreshing night's sleep. It's been (or I should say it is!) really interesting posting to FR on the other side of the planet, it's funny to watch people's tones and energy levels change as night and day rolls around.
Sometimes I post in the morning, and in the evening of the same day everyone is saying, "ah, good morning, um nice cup of coffee to start the day", but it's still the same day for me!
And the opposite when I go to sleep and wake up and everyone is getting tired and sleepy in their afternoon, while I feel morning fresh! Interesting to watch the subtle nuances change around.
So here I go, time to start the final packing. I did say I could just grab two bags and run out, but that was an exaggeration, I forgot all the little things you have to grab. So that's today's project, then, as soon as I get my tax certificate, I should be able to jump the next flight out. Flights to Thailand are only difficult to find during Chinese New Year. Otherwise it's pretty much an open shot.

Well, I had a long nap this afternoon. We had a thunderstorm run through and it's humid.
You're a bright eyed and bushy tailed after a long nights sleep. Hope you have a great day. ;)
Having just come home from Vegas I can understand a little about time differences. There are 3 hours difference between EDT and Pacific time. Time can get distorted in a short bit for me.

Ah, a nice nap during a thunderstorm, sounds great! I'd write a short poem about it but I'm too busy!
And I bought a great accross-the-shoulder canvas bag in preparation for my future Palm Pilot that I'll use for my reporting from Thailand. It's the perfect bag. Fat, thick canvas strap for going across the shoulders and chest, so the bag hangs at your hip (and the canvas strap is sewn into the canvas bag itself). And a big flap in front with Velcro patches. Pull it up and there's a big zipper at the top, unzip that and there's all your stuff, very secure, and lots of little pockets around too.
I also got this very slender one-pocket money belt that fits under your cloths. Now that's cool. Before I would wear one of those front money belts with lots of pockets, but they get pretty cumbersome.
So my traveler's checks, passport, and whatever else will fit nice and snug at my waist, with my Palm Pilot and digital camera in the shoulder bag, with me at all times (at home and out!)
I love it, I'm MOBILE!

Fantastic, you know how to travel light and have everything you need at hand, sounds great.
You are gonna have a fabulous time!
It will be great fun reading your impressions and thoughts as you travel around. I know you have seen a lot Asia already.
To: bentfeather
Well they just came by to grab my passport in order to complete the tax payment. So if I can get out to the bank and the travel office, I could set it all up for tomorrow! Yippy!
Maybe that's rushing a bit, Friday might do as well (it's Wed. at 10:50am here now).
In fact, they were looking for me yesterday while I was playing in the capital! That's OK, I enjoyed my last trip to that city for a while. So, stay tuned to hear the jet engines.

Lookn For the End of Time
Looking for the end of times
a goddamn crime;
Preachers on the TV spittn
goddamn slime.
Christ knows well always have the poor
to kick around the church-yard door;
But when it comes to Holy War
The Saints go marching out like Thor
Each time we hear the sound of bombs
the Saints break out in Holy Pslams;
searching in books and reading palms
usurp the place of giving alms.
The people of the Middle East
are Gods own fodder;
When you see that train a comn
be sure to holler!
Praise the Lord and pass the bullets
what a bucket of holy bullshit.
The time of Christ is drawing near
just like it was each time before.
According to Gods Prophetic Clock,
the Jews are in for quite a shock;
and Muslims? They aint got a prayer
cause even God Himself dont care.
And there upon the sacred screen
the women bleed and children scream;
Hell no I cant spare a dime,
Im lookn for the end of Time!

Hello,
It's been a while since you posted here last time.
I really don't know what to think of your work and will not comment on it.
Have a good evening.

LibertyBelt,
I'm not the host of the Lair, but as a frequent visitor I think I can say that your post is out of step with what we do here. It seems vicious and crass, at best. Seems trollish. Please excuse me if you meant it in any other way.

I suddenly have an urge to go and chow some of my Chinese favorites before I leave Taiwan! Like boiled pork dumplings they call swye jow. Really tasty. There are also these pan fried unleavened breads with different seasonings inside. Too bad I can't take any pictures of them now, that would be fun.
But next Spring I can come back here and in one afternoon take pictures of all the stuff I used to do here. But I'll definitely be living in a larger city next time, that's for sure!

Oh, but I forgot to add, I have to hang out till they return with the tax certificate. It's so funny that they were looking for me while I was prancing around the one city I actually like around here! Funny irony! I'm desperate to leave for about a year, but when even they want to help me leave, I can't be found!

Oh your meal sounds delicious. I like pork dumplings a lot. ;)
Enjoy!
Have a wonderful day, it's nigh on to noon for you.
I shall soon be putting the night light out, so see you tomorrow.

LOL, oh life!
At times delays are unpleasant to deal with, but often they are for a good reason. Most of the time we never know the reason.

Goodnight everyone.
Please remember our troops in prayer.
