The Pops is playing now, and the fireworks start at 10 Eastern time.

Dad and I are the only "big people" left home; Mom and the three oldest of my siblings went downtown to the fireworks. So Dad and I are having a "we got ditched" pity party with lemon drops, pizza, and "The Last of the Mohicans" on dvd. It actually sort of rocks even if we have been abandoned by our true loves ;-)

Here's the fort/swingset I finished on Saturday. I built the fort for Jr's 6th birthday. Added the swings for Luke.

And, this picture from yesterday is destined for the Stormhands' family Christmas card...

In other news, waiting to hear from Jr. He's got a flat tire at Kings Dominion. He said he'd call if he needed helped. He knows how, just never done it all on his own.
