Who would have an interest in having homeschool Ebay auctions pulled?

Public school teachers?

Naw, I'm thinking private "curriculum selling" websites. They can sell stuff for 3/4 of new, but Ebay undercuts them when I'm buying stuff for 1/3 of new including shipping!

I'm betting places like the website that email is promoting goes in and sabatoges people's Ebay auctions by "reporting" them. That makes people think Ebay has something against homeschoolers (victim complex) and they have no choice but go to the other (namely their) websites.

I find this sentence appalling!

"It is to our best interest as homeschoolers to have 2 or 3 really good sources we can turn to for our used curriculum after all the local book sales are over and we still do not have everything we need."

It's un-American, I tell ya!

The thing smacks of manipulation. They're trying to scare people.

I may be wrong, but I bet you dollars to donuts that the Ebay auctions that are being shut down are being shut down because they're being reported by private used-curriculum brokers who don't want that business going to Ebay.
