Sorry we didn't check in yesterday, but as soon as we got home we plunged into the "To Do List".
Ramius actually built the bunk beds, despite how exhausted he must have felt. He's my hero!
I've got all of the suitcases unpacked and clothes put up, but there are over 80 boxes in this house that need unpacking. Yikes!
But I'm so stinkin' happy to finally be here with Ramius that even that doesn't seem too intimidating. ;-)

Both XGI and Corin made us new thread pictures yesterday! I said to give us an image of 'moving to new home by air' and Corin gave us a Gandalf riding the eagle, and XGI gives us a DC-3 :~)
I'm going to put XGI's in there for now, I like the welcome home banner :~D
Oh, and those 80 cent plastic safety carabiners are big hits, with troops even asking for extras. We send out two with each sheath knife.

We need to make a run to Fred Meyer later, but when we get back, I'll get to uploading. Gives us a chance to take more pics to add to the ones we took on the plane.
Which reminds me, I cannot say enough about how well the girls behaved on the planes. God really had a hand in it. No other explanation. :-)

Today is Matthew's last day of his Latina Christiana II. He starts high school Latin in the Fall.

Cake turned out great! I fixed it in the old 1970s Bundt pan my mother gave me. I sprayed the pan with that cooking spray with flour in it...it just slipped out of the pan!
No hurry on it. Clare will be taking Elementary Latin at Ave Maria in the Fall, but I have no idea what books they'll be using. She got her preliminary schedule, and they accepted the credits from her Math courses at the Community College, so she'll be going right into Calculus!
