Nifong press release and email...
(Excerpt) Read more at wral.com ...
Nifong was talking about a "wall of silence" around the time of this USA Today article (03-29). In his recent email to Newsweek, one of the reasons he cited for his public statements was to get the players to come forward and cooperate.
Damnable liar. The players were fully cooperative from the very beginning.
Maybe "toxic dancer" is more like it.
Hey, you notice how the MSM calls prostitutes "exotic dancers"? Well, I have read columns where rabid lefties have called conservative women writers "prostitutes". They just can't call things what they are.
You notice that the person of the most marked honestly and character is the Duke coach - who got thrown under the bus - and the sniveling little cowards like Brodhead, the Duke faculty and Nifong are thriving?
Norm Early is a first class idiot and has anyone noticed how it's breaking down along racial lines?
Nifong is counting on that jury, in my opinion.
He makes reference to that in his letter to Susana Meadows of Newsweek - he says he only has to to convince the Jury.
Seems like he's not concerned with the Judges at all? Wonder what Nifong knows?
The man (and I use that term losely) is nothing but a scumbag.
Nothing more, nothing less.
USA Today was certainly part of the Lynch Mob.
They played the game of putting any stories remotely favorable to the players in the back of the sports section.
The very next day more allegations against the players were back on the front page.
The whole media is really acting like Abrams hasn't seen anything.
They seem to be ignoring a powerful fact - because it's convenient, I guess.
The discovery file being reviewed by a reporter - a legal reporter - that's HUGE.
I guessed the other day that while the defense gave Abrams the scoop, they would soon release the report to other media personnel. Haven't heard from Megyn for a coupe of days, so maybe she's been going over it. We'll see.
And a favorable judge.

Man gets 7 years in Cannady slaying
EXCERPT
Assistant District Attorney David Saacks said Morris' impaired intellectual functioning, coupled with a meek personality, had made him vulnerable to the recruiting activities of gang members.
"To me, Ricky Morris is the poster child of what gang recruitment is all about," said Saacks.
"What we asked Ricky Morris to do, he did -- completely," Saacks added, referring to Morris' testimony against two co-defendants.
"Do whatever you can for him. Give him the lowest mitigated sentence," the prosecutor urged Superior Court Judge Ron Stephens.
Well it might have been better to get the whole file out sooner. Dan said it took him quite some time to go over it all. Maybe they should see what all the so called experts say they want to see and get that out to them so they would have to shut up.
That's nice, kill a 89 year old and get 7 to 10 years.............
I'm still questioning the fact that he personally picked up the second set of DNA results. Sounds way out of line. Could it be against the rules of "chain of custody"?
I guess Durham is all into poster children. They are well represented by Crystal Gail Mangum and Kim Roberts Pittman, two outstanding examples of hard working mothers.
" Norm Early is a first class idiot and has anyone noticed how it's breaking down along racial lines? "
Early and Goslee repeatedly make declarative statements that are completely at odds with the known facts.
Which is their perogative , but, pretty scary considering their history as prosecutors.
Ted Williams said last night that Nifong either has some secret evidence that no one has yet heard about- or he has just jumped off a cliff without a parachute.
So, Williams may finally be seeing the light-joining Filan and Guilfoyle.
My favorite quote this past week end was Kimberley Guilfoyle urging Nifong " to be a man and do the right thing."
My heart bleeds for this meek, cooperative, stupid murderer. /sarc.
Let me wipe this tear from my eye! :-)
