This is a horse chat thread where we share ideas, ask for input from other horsemen, and talk about our riding and horse-keeping. We have a lot of different kinds of riders and horses, and a lot to share. In the previous threads we have had a great time talking through lessons, training, horse lamenesses, illnesses and pregnancies... and always sharing pictures and stories.
I always have a link to this thread on my profile page, so if you have something to say and can't find the thread in latest posts… look for it there and wake the thread up!
I also have a ping list for horse threads that are of interest, and MissTargets will now be pinging everyone most mornings. Let MissTargets and/or me know if you would like to be on the ping list. As FreeRepublic is a political site, our politics and other issues will probably blend in…. There are many issues for horsemen that touch politics… land use, animal rights/abuse cases that make the news…. Legislation that might affect horse owners.
So... like the previous threads, this is intended as fun place to come and share stories, pictures, questions and chit-chat, unguided and unmoderated and that we come together here as friends. There are lots of ways of doing things and we all have our quirks, tricks and specialties that are neat to learn about.

Been watching her flight too.... I think when she lands, I'll go take a nap, then she's got an hour or so to wait for her hop to Tulsa.
OK - Now it's saying she's landed safe in Dallas, a wait now till her next flight (AA 3817) leaves at 1:35 your local... I'm going to take a nap :~)
Hey, I was searching for AA 3817 on the flight tracker and it says it doesn't exist. What's up?

Heh.... had just taken off, probably on a southbound runway. Now she's on course!
Looks like she's landed now. Hopefully her bags made it back too and Big Mack is there to give her the big Welcome Back smooch.

I think she's looking forward to that! She had a good time, but was ready to go home and make sure all is well there.

Aw, you're just pulling her leg! Surely it's not gonna get that hot up there.
Here we've been hovering around 99 with a heat index of 110 since last week. It's been miserable and we're used to this kinda heat. Nobody even thinks of going anywhere that's not air conditioned so I don't know how y'all will handle it up there where not very many people have A/C.
It's supposed to only be a one or two day heat wave - Saturday 102 and maybe Sunday :~0
I checked the temperature outside a little while ago and it was 108 here, are y'all roasting down there yet?

Actually, they've now revised the forcast down to ~only~ 98 on Saturday... 99 is the record.

Ugh, the heat is just horrible here, and sounds like you're getting ready to have some "real" hot stuff:)
Susie is just now starting to calm down. Mack, Jenny and Tucker were at the airport to meet me:).
It' was a great trip, and I'm glad to be home.

You can look and copy all the ones you want to save. We'll leave them up a month or so, so no rush saving them down. Thought you'd want to show folks all the pictures, so there they are :~D - sorry we forgot to put them on CD before you left!
Eddie is in a snit. He went to mow the yard and all the gas is gone from his 3 motor toys.
