Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor? Frank Langella as Perry White? Eva Marie Saint as Martha Kent?
I kid you not! :)
It's due on June 28.
See IMDb for details.

Superman?
ping!
Any possible curiosity value for me was lost when I learned that in the film he says he stands for "Truth, justice, and that other stuff."
Really? :(
And it's supposed to have 20 minutes in 3D for Imax theaters.
Otisburg?
Kevin Spacey is pretty good. I'm sure he does a good job.
No hard feelings at all, but please don't ping me to anymore Superman threads, I just don't care for it.
Why not? Miss Tessmacher gets her own town!
Kevin Spacey is a great actor but I just saw the latest trailer and couldn't stop laughing. :)
Super. NP :)
Really? I did too, LOL. I thought he was good.
Thanks =)
Supposedly this thing was only locked last week, with final rescoring of certain scenes, including a new opening to the picture. A lot of last-minute tweaking, not all that unusual. It's gotten good reviews so far, but I just never cared much for the 1978 version, or any version of the character--I prefered the Marvel heroes when I was a kid. And the idea of a revised Superman is of no interest to me; I won't spoil anything, but there are certain aspects being "updated" that had me chuckling; they just can't bring themselves to leave such an iconic character alone if it might make some people think he's too moral and American. I'm not big on morality in movies, but it just seemed kind of silly and reactionary to make the changes they did.
I have to admit, I've never seen him in a bad performance. I'll just have to wait and see the entire film. :)
Yes--when Clark removes his glasses to go into action, the viewer is supposed to put his 3D glasses on.
I'm going to see it, but its time atop the Box Office is going to be short lived. I'm betting POTC 2 cleans its clock the next week.
I take it you haven't sen pay It Forward... or The Big Kahuna... blech!
I especially liked Superman II - General Zod rocked.
