Mo, I sure hope you are on high ground. Stay safe. :)
Looks like my next reading adventure will be a kid's cookbook. Well, that, and other 9 year old type stuff. Got to feed the boy's mind and help him cultivate valuable skills while he's here. ya know.
Awww,, That's touching.
So flying through the air: Is that a girl or a guy?
Ohh well.....
LOL!
I'm thinking you must conduct more research, cp. LOL. For the most part, bikini is my "kini" of choice. hehe
I got a big fat Harry Potter V waiting for my first free day after my daugher's wedding and my retirement. I'll probably lug that ten miles up into the mountains and start reading it.
Good for you but you'll still have lots of time for summer reading after he returns home. :)
Didn't I hear a report earlier this week that Rowling is currently writing the final HP book and in it she intends to knock off a couple of main characters ?
"Loose lips" kill Americans, says top Republican
Wed Jun 28, 2006, By Andy Sullivan
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Declaring that "loose lips" kill Americans, a top Congressional Republican leader said on Wednesday the House of Representatives will debate a resolution condemning the U.S. media for exposing details of secret intelligence programs.
The move heaps more criticism on The New York Times and other newspapers that reported last week on a secret program by the U.S. Treasury Department that tracks private bank records.
"What we're talking about is people who are leaking classified information. It's not news. It's classified information our government is using to fight terrorists," said House Speaker Dennis Hastert, of Illinois.
"Loose lips kill American people," he added.
A floor vote is scheduled for Thursday, said a spokesman for House Majority Leader John Boehner.
News reports of the bank-monitoring program, and a separate surveillance effort that monitors phone traffic without a court warrant, have drawn outbursts from President George W. Bush and other Republicans who say that coverage of the programs undermines their effectiveness.
In the Senate, Intelligence Committee Chairman Pat Roberts, a Kansas Republican, has asked the administration for a formal assessment of any damage to the secret programs caused by news coverage.
In the House, New York Republican Rep. Peter King, who chairs the Homeland Security Committee, has asked the Justice Department to investigate The New York Times.
Arizona Republican Rep. J.D. Hayworth has demanded that New York Times reporters be stripped of their press passes, according to CQToday, a daily publication that covers Capitol Hill.
Lawmakers have no direct influence over press passes because they are administered by a group of reporters, not congressional officials.
A New York Times spokeswoman was not immediately available for comment.

In a NRSC email:
Michigan
NRSC Launches ThanksDebbie.com The NRSC launched a new interactive website dedicated to Debbie Stabenow's "inability to deliver for the people of Michigan when it comes to the economy, Michigan's roads, medical malpractice and immigration. . . .ThanksDebbie.com also highlights Stabenow's efforts on behalf of the Saginaw Chippewa, one of the nation's wealthiest Indian Tribes - when Stabenow could have been working on a myriad of other problems. . . .'In the six years she has spent in the U.S. Senate, Senator Stabenow has only passed one single piece of legislation--to rename a building... ThanksDebbie.com is a chance to show the people of Michigan how completely ineffective Senator Stabenow has been,' said NRSC Spokesman Brian Walton.'"
Our Governor is hot, unfortunately she's a flaming socialist as well. Nice to look at, but an attitude like Hillary's. Good thing she's not born in the US or she would be a tough one to run against, she actually looks and sounds nice......we know better though.....
I'm too busy enjoying the boating, beaching, watching good looking wimmin (rather than pup's over 80 crowd) and hiking um, er......shovelling the 12' of snow that catpuppy thinks we get everyday.......
Oh, I think I remember seeing her photos and comments about her during the campaign that she is nice looking but a raging lib. Where is she from, Canada ?
FOFLOL. Ah, ha, then of course, you wouldn't have time or energy for reading. LOL
I've been reading a couple of novels by Jack Higgins. "The Eagle Has Landed" and "Thunder Point". Fun stuff.
Born in Canada, so she can't run for Pres. She has been an awful Gov, but she is like Mr. Clinton, a polished lib liar. I think she may not get re-elected....it will be close. Sheisacow might be close too.
:-)
No. Nada. Nyet. LOL.
That always makes the Chillun cry.
I suppose the other book worth wrestling through is Ann Coulter's book, but even though I'm on her side her venom still bites.
