Good morning. Rain here too, Nully, groan. Our second month of rain. Might as well stayed in FL for the weather..lol.
I am starting my second week with no cigs. Not easy, but not as bad as I figured. Of course the Nicotine gum has helped. Now I'll just be hooked on the gum...:( Oh well.........

I got hooked on the nicotine gum when I quit in 1999. I got over that addiction by switching to plain gum. It took a year and a half to switch to the plain gum, but I am cig free for 7 years now.
You can do it!

You both would be most welcome gran. But even though it looked so threatening this morning we did not have a drop of rain.
You are not likely to see the sky so low on the East coast, as my sister remarked when she first came to America that the sky was so high.

Actually I did quit at least 20 or so times.......then I'd get cocky a couple of weeks later and tell myself I could try just one puff, and that wouldn't be so bad, one puff would never hurt me.
*rolling eyes at self*
I finally realized that just one puff was too much. I'm a smokaholic now. I know that just once and I'd be back again. Been off the stuff for over 25 years and it feels great. I also know that even now, one puff would do me in.
