You know that there is snow here......Where is the 12' of snow?
:-)
You have my permission....
:-)
However, the contest is no contest. Our sunsets snowstorms are prettier, the water is clearer polluted, and has a better non existent series of blues. The foliage three eyed fish is better, the boating ice sledding is better, the topography is not the flat ugly stuff in Pup's neck of the woods.
Plus we don't need courses on how to vote...............
Heh heh heh.....
As for your, ... we don't need courses on how to vote, six words that prove you might need more than courses on how to vote: Carl Levin, Debbie Stabenow, John Conyers. I rest my case.
I've been to Florida.......great place to visit during March and April. And it is always flat and ugly.
Concerning March and April (the only months that even Florida wins)..........the Carribean, Mexico and Hawaii are a lot nicer places to visit.
:-)
The beds have extra motors that push up and pull down various bits pretty much at random.
The idea is to prevent bed sores by relieving pressure points. Probably does that, but it makes restful sleep challenging...
It was very mutual. 5 days without caffine or FR?
The horror!
Speaking of which, my parents came up to add to be with me in this time of trial.
It's looking like a typical visit on steroids so far. They arrived about an hour before the procedure. Came in kvecthing (I cleaned that up).
Thank God they took me away to cut on me. They went to get a hotel room, and managed to find their way back an hour or so after the doctor was done with me.
The hospital got around to kicking me out at 8:30 or so. My darling mom got it in her head that I needed to have someone here with me over night. (I didn't) and we ended up drafting Ratboy for the job.
On the way out, it being dark, and dad, being nearly blind, tripped over a lowered chairlift in the parking lot. Hurt his knees, and got taken to the ER. Mom insisted that I wait in the car to limit the amount of walking I did with the plug in my femoral artery, under the grounds that she would take care of him (first time for everything, I suppose).
Dumps him in ER and comes to sit with me in the car. She does wander in every half hour/45 min to see if they've gotten to him. By this time his knee is swelling up nicely.
Finally she decides that sitting with my leg bent isn't good for the plug, and we go wake up ratboy and drag him to my house.
It's now 10:00 PM. My mom doesn't drive at night. I give her a very simple map back to the hospital, and send her back to get dad.
At midnight dad calls to ask where she is. That's the last I've heard.
And I bet they still wonder why I didn't particularly want them to come up...
Should be:
Speaking of which, my parents came up to add to the stresses be with me in this time of trial.
Yea ! You're out ! Good news that they haven't found anything but they still need to keep looking. All those symptoms at one time has to mean sumpin has run amok. Hang in there and let them do their job. :)
Yep. We should have heard sumpin by now.
Yep, and its an especially great summer drink, too. :)
FOFLOL. Tipper oughta share her meds with Mr Lockbox.
I can photoshop ? I didn't know I knew how to do dat. LOL No, sir, no snow pics.... wouldn't be a fair comparison.... LOL
Totally off the topic of your post but it reminded me of a quote I heard earlier this week. Someone asked Paris Hilton how she handled stress (or sumpin equally innane). She said, Two words: Champagne. FOFLOL
They think high BP triggered the symtoms.
Dunno why they thought that, it was only 197/111 a couple nights ago...
Good Lord ! Call the hospital, maybe they'll let you come back. LOL
OMG ! nulls ! Its a wonder you didn't explode.
They just came by. Mom burned an entire tank of gas within 5 or 10 miles of here last night.
Dad has both knees bandaged, and a broken thumb.
The just left for home, in hopes they can get there before dark...
I was in the hospital at the time...
(They've been playing with BP medication)
