WASHINGTON, May 31 — After vowing to steer a greater share of antiterrorism money to the highest-risk communities, Department of Homeland Security officials on Wednesday announced 2006 grants that slashed money for New York and Washington 40 percent, while other cities including Omaha and Louisville, Ky., got a surge of new dollars.

FLAKE: Good question. I pieced it all together: the resurrected deity, the Egyptian-Israelite mingling, if you will, and the names. The names "Is-is"--and listen to the phonics here--and "Je-sus" sound a lot alike, right?

FLAKE: Now, not only do they sound alike, but the latter is actually a corruption of the former translated. You've got different languages clashing, and--have you ever played the telephone game, Kip?
