WASHINGTON, May 31 — After vowing to steer a greater share of antiterrorism money to the highest-risk communities, Department of Homeland Security officials on Wednesday announced 2006 grants that slashed money for New York and Washington 40 percent, while other cities including Omaha and Louisville, Ky., got a surge of new dollars.
Homeland security officials said the grants were a result of a more sophisticated evaluation process

Should I be ashamed to admit that not only haven't I bought it but that I have no plans to do so in the near future?
It's back to class for me and that means my reading is limited to things like "Accounting Ethics and You" and the lightest of fluff for brain relaxation.

Chapters 8 and 9 are filled with errors concerning verifiable fact. I do not demand that people accept the ToE as an explanation, but I do demand that they be honest and meticulous should they choose to attempt its rebuttal.

And that example provides the merest sketch, the barest outline, of the errors by which those two chapters are filled (and constructed, as the errors are central elements of her "logic" and argument).
Here is a fun set of common errors and ploys used by anti-evolutionists.

As you read through those two chapters, go ahead and compare each and every one of her sentences to the ploys listed above. Highlight each sentence which fits one or more of the ploys. You will find that the unhighlighted remainder of the text might fill one or two pages.
That level of error is not mere "disagreement" - it appears to be mendacity.
