On the contrary, Indiana is photographed, for the most part, at a higher resolution than any other state. My question is why Indiana merits such detailed statellite representation as opposed to any other state.

I have done so many times. Look at the border between northern IN and southern MI. You can see the cars in Gary, IN. Can barely see streets in St. Joe, MI.
