The woman who has accused three Duke University men's lacrosse players of raping her failed to identify at least one of them in a photo array eight days after the reported attack, according to a motion filed Friday by defense attorneys. The motion also says that she then selected him as an attacker more than two weeks later.

And were the defense wrong about injuries and injuries noted in the missing SANE report pages, they would have been quickly leaked to the press by Nifong's office.
Also, everything positive for Nifong had to be in the discovery package or he risks having the judge not allow it in evidence. So what was omitted likely helps the defense.
But as a journalist she should recognize her experience, if true, as a source of bias and avoid the case.
Well said, Gagal, and thanks for all the excellent links you've shared on this thread.
Do we know for a fact that Nifong is being investigated by the state bar ethics committee?
....and the expenditure of resources on this bogus case instead of on real cases of violent murder, rape, and assault?
I thought Hardin was appointed to a special judicial position that involves a circuit assignment.
Tucker Carlson hasn't followed the legal aspects of the case as closely as Abrams has or given the case as much time as Abrams has, but he has featured the case almost every night and asked pragmatic, logical questions about the evidence of such screechers as Wendy Murphy, and done a fine job of putting her and others like her in their place by doggedly posing questions rooted in known facts.
It's exactly what happened in the city near me.
Abrams has been top-drawer in his coverage of the case. Carlson has done well, too, on the whole. He's pretty steamed. I finally quit watching Scarborough because I couldn't stand watching a trained lawyer who used to be a promising member of congress talk about American idol for one more minute, and gave up on Cosby because her breathless pot-stirring about the cab driver was just the limit.
The pot-banging, pot-stirring hypocrites did themselves more harm than good, and MSNBC generally sucks anyway. Any news station that would run Hrdball about ten times a day is obviously biased and hard-up. They're lucky to have Abrams and carlson. Oberman? I thought that was a comedy/satire show.
That Georgia Gossley or whatever her name is is a complete moron. She's living in la-la land. To think she was a federal prosecutor at one time is scary. She was obviously an affirmative action hiree because she is dumber than a box of rocks. Susan Filan argues for the other side, but she is not devoid of common sense nor is she an illogical dingbat like Gossley.
The defense should be sending out a daily or thrice-weekly drip-drip-drip of information.
The Raleigh News and Observer also printed this on the op-ed page.
ROFLOL!!! Nifong.......lays down with fleas.....
Houston Baker's move to Vandy... Significant? Getting out while the getting's good? What say you?
Perhaps the defense should showcase the footage of her antagonism at court in contrast with any testimony she might give regarding the instigation of name-calling and racial epithets flung during the night in question.
I think it was Locomotive Breath who pinged me to an article showing that Baker and another academic race-baiter were leaving Duke but only because they'd received "more prestigious" teaching appointments elsewhere.
His wife's moving to Vandy, too...
Aha. Post 259.
