Property taxes are usually based on a percentage like 1% or 4%.
There are usually extra debt that voters put on themselves when they stupidly passed bonds.

Your taxes are handled during your house payment with the house payment until they home is paid, then you have to pay your taxes yourself twice a year.

in this case, no - as the blade is razorsharp and the cut is on the side of the finger, not on the pad where most of the nerve endings are. this cut was essentiall;y painless.

had the blade tagged me 3mm farther north on the finger, it would have taken the tip off at the joint.

Schools, libraries, police and fire are in the budget already.

They love to get you to go for more debt in bonds through sympathy and saying dumb things like FOR THE CHILDREN.

Then the bond passes, and they just refinanced what was already in the budget and proceed to steal what was in the budget before for what ever they want.

NEVER vote yes on bonds.

Bonds are used to fool people. They use sympathetic people to refinance what is already in the budget to steal prior existing funding.

For the teachers.
For the children.
For the police.
For schools.
For Firemen.

All bunk, always vote NO!

In my city of many thousands in an off year there was an election and they held the voting at a home for elderly living.
Politicians hit that home with everything they got and they fooled all the old people.

In the end, a huge bond to build buildings in the city for millions of dollars was passed 153 to 137 (or there abouts).

Voting and being informed is real important.
