Kewl! I have always believed animals were capable of logical thought. This would seem to confirm it.

She's right. I see things differently. In Hawaii, my DH and I passed a guy on a motorcycle.
I didn't pick up on it, but DH pointed out that he wasn't wearing a helmet. It didn't registered with me until he pointed it out. Some have an eye for detail.
I say you (BOB) see many of the things that the collective "we" don't ever notice.
More power to you.

I credit a most powerful imagination, and some training in physics.
I see things just as others do, but then I filter what I have seen through a prism of understanding about how optics and nuclear materials work. This lets me notice things that others don't, as well as make internal observations that most would gloss over.
One of my most intriguing memories deals with a partial solar eclipse. I was in a park in El Paso.
The moon had bitten off a good chunk of the sun, and was busy in-whistling to cool off the material.
Meanwhile, under the shade trees in the park, the ground was dappled with tiny little crescent suns. Everywhere I looked, the leaves were making pinhole cameras to let me see the wonder.
Mental photographs like that are hard to erase.

It's because they want to hear your story, and maybe an explanaition of what a Sun-day is. Ack! I hate Sun-days! The only things worse are White-Sky-Days (which are why I have polarized sunglasses). Rainy-Days, now... a gift from Heaven.

fanfan, I am surprised!! It is French* (LibreOuMort) -- and she is doing very well. Campaign season is kicking off, and she's landed a (paying) job with one of the local campaigns. She's just about ready to let go of the wheelchair AND the walker, though she still needs the cane for "extensive" walks w/o support (through the church parking lot, for example).
*French is her other native tongue, acquired in Belgium. And though the French look down on the French-speaking Belgians ("Walloons"), she also speaks perfect (I've heard from Frenchmen) Parisian French.
How's by you, other than the mosquitoes? (As yet I haven't seen any such here, though it's only a matter of time. Mosquitoes, liberals... one has to choose, it appears.)

"Ack! I hate Sun-days! The only things worse are White-Sky-Days ..." Well, you should live there, then. The "beer" is very good.
All across this globe, we have adopted the custom of counting days in sets of seven. That is not a Universal characteristic.

Proof that I can write some really bad stuff...
Rain Delay
It rained on us coming home from the train.
More spice to the moment for the pain,
As idiot drivers came our way,
To perfectly end our holiday.
Now the bent metal, and the injured paint,
And all the used-to-was that aint,
Stupidity thrives on a liquid diet,
Dry humors best, I wish theyd try it.
Humidity must be a very close kin,
The dampening down of the wit within,
Ive met my share of the Iddity troupe,
Both that loser Hume, and his cousin Stupe.
