I think I was strangled to death last time.

I can not wear a turtle neck, or a tight necklace.

I have claustrophobia, so I have to be careful about things close to my face. Including clothes.

"What's the price in that case?"

In that case, you can only get a "liquid lunch."

"You really AREN"T from here, are you?"

Good Lord! I hope not. Still, it's an entertaining place to visit.

"I think Bob sees things we can't see."

Reflections

God sets a mirror down for us,
To bounce back sunny days,
He does it when the rain has passed,
To help us see the rays.

The reflection that we see in it,
Is not of hair and skin.
What we see is an image of,
The gloried state we’re in.

Light pink, and brighter orange,
And yellow brighter still.
I sit and look at glory’s frame,
Upon my favorite hill.

The others call it rainbow,
But I know what it is,
A magic mirror in the sky,
That lets us know we’re His.

The body that we occupy down here,
Is nothing like its start,
For one, the most attractive thing,
Has always been the heart.

God looks into our heart and then,
Just for His own amusement.
He gives a glimpse of what He sees,
And laughs at our confusement.

“That doesn’t look at all like me!”
I hear your protests start,
But when you look at other folks,
How can you see their heart?

If you admit there’s beauty,
Reflecting from some source,
Just think how glorious it will be,
When He’s revealed full force.

And you and I are with Him,
And joining in the glow.
Next time you see a rainbow,
I thought you ought to know.

Mostly beer, or the local equivalent.

It's because they want to hear your story, and maybe an explanaition of what a Sun-day is.

Bob just can't be bothered by the hum-drum and mundane.

He deals with it, everything gets done, but it's what he has to do in order to have time to deal with the things we can't see.

;-D

I read an article about a muskrat.

It seemed to be behaving like a beaver.

The rains had swollen its little pond to the point where water was going over the central overflow pipe. The muskrat was fascinated by this phenomenon, swimming up and watching the water swirl away.

It seemed to conclude that this was a bad thing, that its world was disappearing. It began bringing sticks over to block the flow, watching them get swept away too.

At this point, the witness' dog began pestering the muskrat, barking and nipping at it. The muskrat ignored the dog, swimming around to the other side of the pipe.

Finally it found a stick with a Y-shape, and wedged that into the pipe. It continued trying to save the world in this manner for as long as the witness was able to observe it.

I found the story to be a fascinating read. You could almost sense the thoughts that were going on in that tiny head. To my way of thinking, that little rodent was a hero, ignoring its own comfort and safety to do something it thought was important.

That's me.

I don't do topping on cheesecake, anyway. And I love rare roast beast sammiches. I'll eat them both in your honor!
