Hey, if they don't like it, they can lodge a complaint. If they have the guts.

Careful now, you'll cause Irish to get his Irish up.
It's a more popular game in Europe, or thereabouts.
Makes more sense than football, as far as I'm concerned. But as far as I'm concerned, it doen't concern me.

Only in succer can you drop screaming in pain, only to go back to play 30 seconds later like nothing happened...and what's up with the single-name "stars"??

No, not only in soccer. There's a lot of theatrics going on in basketball, too, as players pretend to be grievously fouled, slapping their hands down on the court as if they had really taken quite a hit.
All part of the game, I guess. That's why I like chess. The men just stand there, without trying to distract me.

I tried chess once. Unfortunately, I am borderline adult ADD, so there was no way I could sit through the game. Sigh...

You might consider trying what is called "Lightning Chess" where moves are made very quickly.
A lot of mistakes occur, which could give you a chance to play to your strength. "He who makes the next-to-last mistake wins."
Chess is actually simpler than cards.

Morning, Bob! We had a big storm last night, blew over a number of things, but only a few drops of rain. Other parts of the state got drenched though.

Did that. Put down about 2 gallons of water and was wearing loose, but covering, clothing and my boonie hat.
Momma didn't raise but one or two idjits, I weren't one of them.
I did eat something that didn't agree with me the other day though. Had me on and off the toilet for most of the afternoon.
Now THAT is annoying...
