Great choices,,
Some of you have asked for back round....
I got him from a chemistry teacher at the high school where I work.. (No not a teacher a Tech Support guy)(Physics... Hmmmmm)
We have another Male Red Tabby named "Buddy T.(the) Fuzzbutt" 8 years old, currently making up his mind on the introduction of such a ruffian into his environs..
Our first cat was a Main Coon named " Clancy Muldune the III)" even though he was the 1st.
The little guy is not the least bit intimidated by Buddy, he's got a good hissss and threatens with cocked paw at eyebrow level but hasn't pulled the trigger yet..

(Rome did not create a great empire by talking, they did it by killing all those who opposed them)

My VAST experience with introducing old cat and new cats to each other lets me inform you that the average time, in my household at least, the average time it takes for the senior kitty, or kitties, to adjust to junior kitty is about 3 to 4 days. Once they get used to the foreign scent of the interloper, peace follows quickly.

(Overwhelmingly superior firepower and the willingness to use it is the only proven peace solution.)
