, N.C. — New DNA evidence may link a Duke University lacrosse player to an exotic dancer who claims she was raped in the team's house, a Durham newspaper reported Wednesday.
Citing "several well-placed sources," The Herald Sun of Durham, N.C., reported that tissue collected from under the alleged victim's fingernail might match a player who was at the team party where the attack supposedly occurred.

Doesn't it make sense to you that they would have found HER body fluids on the rug or bathroom floor?? Rape doesn't stop the physical process. Never mind THEIR DNA, where's HER DNA.
Folks who think I'm a troll should be watched closely.
Use your head a moment ~ we are talking about "date rape drug" and a common element in many of the first hundred or so references there (which I have read recently) are the terms "rape", "hallucination", "drug", and so forth. Now, try to find something on the order of "hallucinations may include the feeling that one has been raped", or any variation on that theme.
It's doggone near impossible.
However, the difficulty inherent in doing any particular search on Google.com DOES NOT MEAN that I have misrepresented anything.
And no, I will not give you the victim's name.
Howlin, please bother reading some of the better sources. GHB takes from 12 minutes to 2 hours (depending on dose and target).
BTW, the news this morning (on FOX) was the DNA was sampled in a "tissue fragment" of microscopic size found on one of the fingernails.
1. Did that seem like reliable information?
2. Was the point made that it fell below the standard of evidence?
3. What did Nancy have to say about it? (as if I couldn't guess)
I see we have the usual suspects who just can't get over the fact that stripper's lie. LOL
Interesting that the stripper/hooker's statement, posted on FR last night, didn't include any mention of a broomstick. And I think she was asked specifically if any kind of item was used.
The DA seems to have dropped the broomstick theory which is only smart since the stripper's tory changes so constantly. Nifong is going to have a difficult time moving that timeline around too, to suit the stripper's ever changing story.
And let's not forget, a stripper claims she's gang raped and then tries to get back in the house to retrieve her shoe? Riiiight. A woman would only go back into that house to get her kid, not her shoe.
And of course, there's the smile she has plastered on her face as she's leaving the house.
Nifong is in big trouble.
And let's not forget the number one pick in the NBA draft (Bogut); the Sixth Man Award in the NBA (Miller); NFL Defensive Player of the year for 2005 (Uhrlacker); the Biletnikoff award winner in the NCAA (Mike Hass who no pro team bothered to pick until the seventh round although he led the nation in receiving while playing in the same conference as Reggie Bush!); the Butkus Award winner for best defensive player in the NCAA (Posluszny).....but who's counting.
Apparently you have not been following the case as closely as most of us have, or you would not be saying what you have been. Get the facts! You will be amazed!

I am certainly open to the fact that something happened in that house, and I don't call those young men "boys" and I don't think some of them have much character.....
what really Peeves me about this case is the total lack of solid evidence, or flimsey evidence, and yet some of the MSM and the crooked DA is blabbering like this is a lynching or something...
the more the DA and the Nancy Grace's of the world blather on, the more I think the case is a crock.....

I also think she was a half an hour late at that.
So you choose to ignore the fact that the DNA evidence to date is extremely weak, and that there should have been a ton of DNA evidence give the AV's initial story? And the fact that the DA said, before the initial tests came back, that the DNA tests would tell the story?
