I heard Carrie's going to sing at the finals tomorrow. At first I heard she wasn't because of the CMA's.

How can it be that Taylor has so many busy signals, and Kat has the most votes?

The theories about the phone lines being the limiting factor in the number of votes that each contestant can receive look valid based on the raw Dial Idol numbers... even though Taylor has about twice the number of busy signals as Kat, their total votes are remarkably similar.I think you're right. In fact, Katharine was slightly ahead in that one sample.

There was nothing lousy about Kat's performances. She was BRILLIANT and as always was far better then the schmuckey, hokey Taylor. What a beautiful voice she has been given! : )She sang better, she moved better and she looked better. She is going to be a BIG star.
Here's hoping America recognizes and rewards REAL and QUALITY talent (Kat) over mediocrity (Taylor).

Those are only votes going through DialIdol.com... but I think it's indicative of the limits of the phone lines... even though Taylor has almost twice as many calls as Kat, the number of votes cast is remarkably similar between Kat and Taylor.

Montgomery Gentry now singing and showing videos of their trip to Iraq - my nephew just left and I was in tears as he has a 9 am flight tomorrow heading back over there for another six months.....he was laughing his a$$ off while I was going crazy over Tay Tay....
