Thanks for the ping. I wrapped up the first season and am working on the second now. I accidentally read a spoiler elsewhere that you-know-who was the mole and you-know-who-else would get killed at the end of season 1, but it was gripping anyway!

I watched 24 for the first time last season. Season 4. I rented the first 3 seasons over the summer to catch up. Like you I had found out the you know whos :) but I still found myself shocked when it happened. The way it was written into the script was really good and still surprised me. The seasons just get better and better. The only one that bothered me was season 3. That was not my favorite one. :)
