I'm back. Nice, quiet time along the beach, but way too short. Kids were picked up from the airport last night, and they look like they've been to Florida, complete with the requisite sunburn (not too bad, either of them).
In the news...
The Evil One is promising a long war with the United States and has, in his latest video tape, promised to make war upon civilians. He has also called upon his supporters to combat the UN "peacekeeping" force located in the Sudan.
The Evil One's logic for attacking civilians is that the civilians are supporting their governments' new Crusades upon the Mid-East.
Oil prices are easing back from their recent highs of $75/bbl.
Meanwhile, both Senate Majority Leader Frist and Speaker Hastert are engaging in a major cover thy six and blame someone else because it wasn't my fault game. Both leaders are blasting the President for not doing enough about high gasoline prices--well, Congress, where's the drilling in ANWR? Where's the additional refining capacity allowance?
And the daughter of the founder of Earth Day says gas prices are not nearly high enough (she doesn't say what "high enough" is).
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
While rejoicing that Miss Lily has made the journey Home and is now whole and well and in the very presence of her Savior, my heart goes out to you as you deal with the loss of someone so dear and special. God has sent her on to new tasks and accomplishments elsewhere in his Kingdom as He needs her experience. My prayers and sincerest condolences.

It is a great song...tear jerker..yet..uplifting and encouraging.
..My point is....Passion of the Christ ..was a very hard movie to watch.
... as well as the director portrayed it, it didn't half represent the physical pain or the horror of taking on our sins....
..but was still brutal to watch.
But I watched it.....because I wanted to support what it represented.
There is no way I'm comparing The Passion to any other movie....
..but in spirit, the same goes to D-Day scene in Saving Private Ryan....or---(I had to run to the hall for a few minuts, and get my sobbing out)...
..any Holocaust movie....it really happened, and well made movies bring us the horror so we never forget...
The Silent Scream...did it for me for prolife...
...What we seem to have is, finally, a director who cares to get it right...
..families who sign on to it....
...and a nation (I don't mean you)...who want to conveniently forget.
I hope there's a groundswell for this movie...
..but I fear not, especially thanks to E D and Steve.
Poor Mr.Beamer.....he not only lost his son, a hero....
..but people are being influenced not to see the movie that shows us the heroism.
