One of the most hurtful things for the woman about the media circus surrounding the case, the cousin said, is the tendency to assume the worst about her because she is a stripper.
"She's a victim and she's a human being," the cousin said. "Her occupation couldn't justify that a crime like this was committed."

I believe it. As a mother of son in college, I can only imagine the horror these boys and their families are going through. On the other hand, it's a lucky break for the defense that the AV initially picked two kids that appear to have solid alibis. I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop when they charge some poor sap who actually was there.
Brawley accused NYPD cops of raping her- the accused were members of the same community. These families are from out of state and thus not part of any NC politician's constituency. Don't be surprised if no one loses there job over this.
Hospital employees who examined her wrote that her injuries were consistent with rape trauma. There is evidence that she got cuts and bruises to her legs before she got to the party, and I wonder if she might have had been physically abused or had "rough sex" with her "boyfriend" or a paying customer. Perhaps she was so drunk she had already fallen down several times. With that in mind, I would have to believe that private investigators are combing the streets to learn who are the other assignments or customers she had contact with that day, as possible witnesses or suspects, and to determine who she was drinking with and who took her to the party. Since she showed up near midnight already possibly intoxicated and injured at the frat party, how many other assignments, or "customers" had she already seen that day? These people definitely need to be interviewed. And because of the nature of the case, the police should be taking the lead to try to locate these people, to rule them in or out as suspects.

That's why the defense is holding back those pictures, I think.
It was a bad decision to have any kind of function like this. I think that by having it at a private party, they were trying to prevent a UNC fan seeing them at a strip club and publicizing the fact. Unfortunately, the "help" decided to publicize it instead.
Investigators certainly need a timeline for Crystol.........where was SHE from approximately 6pm when her dad took her to the store and when she was late to the party and driven there by her boyfriend shortly before midnight. That's approximately six hours that should be documented.
Driver's license info would not be on the DOC page, only prison/probation info.
If I am not mistaken, the defense said that according to the DNA results there was no evidence that she had even had sex recently.

Megyn Kendall's been one of the few talking heads that I think has done a pretty nice job with her reporting.
No. It was said she displayed marks/trauma consistent with rape. The same marks/trauma are consistent with "enthusiastic" consensual sex, and, I would imagine, the type of activities engaged in by a live-sex "performance artist."
