Yesterday my eye doctor took care of a small cyst on the edge of my lower left eyelid...it was bothering the cornea of the eye...he was very careful and exact with the sharp instrument he was using, thank goodness. Then I had to use warm compresses on it during the rest of the day..
Looks fine this a.m.
Despite that, a friend and I delivered some Easter lilies to some shut-ins from church...there are a few more visits to make today...
bev and dittomom, I'm wondering how you ((((2)))) are doing??
The flies usually don't arrive until mid to late May. They hang around for about a month. This year I have no idea because of the warm winter.
Thanks for subbing for the Chairman.
I selfishly want her to stay in my life, but...my decision to let her go is easy when I put myself in her place.
Comfort measures only now. Bless you all for your prayers - we can feel them. Love, Bev
Hi, Molly! Your one-eyed friend is checkin' in! Had a check up with the eye doc late this afternoon and he says the retina is "A-ttached" and the scarring is gone. After the surgery on Fri he told me to keep my head parallel to the floor for 7 hours/day to let gravity keep the oil on the retina as much as possible. So that and the discomfort kept me from using the computer. ANYWAY, now I only have to keep my head down for an hour/day and I don't have to go back to see him for 3 weeks. Gotta take it easy, of course, but I am on the mend - again.
Sorry about that cyst - so you were doing warm compresses and I've been doing cold ones. Geesh! If it ain't one thing it's another. Glad to know things are looking fine for you now. Take care!
