AMERICA - The Right Way!! (WEEKEND EDITION: Days 1896 and 1897) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | March 31, 2006 | All of Us

Posted on 03/31/2006 6:21:38 PM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good evening!!

Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

The demonstrations of the illegals continue out of control this evening.

Over 3,000 marched brazenly in Las Vegas.

Over 3,500 in San Diego.

ZERO taken back to Mexico.

And Howard Dean has the unmitigated gaul to accuse President Bush of scapegoating Hispanics in all this.

So where are the Democrats? The party that now claims to be the better in protecting our country.

I'll tell you where they are. They are busy filling the air waves fomenting this disorder, encouraging the illegals along. Them and their cohorts, organized crime, er, labor (well, not much difference, if you ask me). All for political, partisan gain.

Partisan may be a good word here, for they are surely working to undermine American sovereignity and American safety. Thousands taking to the street and for what? Basic lawlessness, in the root. Thumbing their nose at American values.

This is what the left wants--they want to bring in the folks who do not respect the rule of law, or any rules for that matter. One could suppose that's only natural, for they do not want to follow the rules themselves; only Republicans need bother with that. So anyone who ascribes to their warped, nation-undermining viewpoint earns their succour, their grace, their protection.

These denezins of dispair, of running to ground that which is good, get help through the media. The media glorify, sensationalize these protestors, who are only seeking their "rights". You've got to be kidding!

These folks don't have any rights in this land except that which can allow them to be run out on a rail.

And those that support them, the left, the American Democrat party (who would rather party than undertake responsibility of any shape, including the protection of those legally in America), should join them on that same rail.

ILLEGALS--Mark my word. This is my home. This is my country. You are squatters, you are not welcome.

Get the heck off my land. NOW!

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Weather spotters are sitting at the intersection beside my house. Funnel touched down 60 miles South. They generally travel in a NE direction.

Update: Possible funnel sighted 15 miles NE of here, traveling NE. If that is the case, the worst is over for us.

I'm going outside to take a look at the sky.

Hubby is out in the timber on the 4-wheeler, looking for antlers. He is going to be one wet puppy when he returns.

Prayers lifted for safe weather for you.

I managed to get my tomato plants in the ground today. Old frenchman gave me compost to use. Our soil here, without amendments, is mostly sand. There is less than 2 inches of top-soil, and then powdery sand that doesn't get wet, except in a deluge.

I'll be adding soil amendments pretty heavily, over the next few years.

Good afternoon. I've done a little gardening myself, took a nap earlier and stayed out of trouble.

Hi! Neighbor came over for lunch (fancy pizza) and she brought a strawberry pie. We had a nice visit, and I have been piddling around.

I am listening to a good discussion of The DaVinci Code on EWTN. That book (and the movie) is an attack not only on Catholics but on all Christians.

It sounds like you a fun day. I agree with you about the DaVinci Code. I haven't read it, but I've heard a lot of reviews. Any idea that says that Jesus didn't die on the cross is pure heresy and I stopped my interest with that. Jesus died, rose and reigns at the right hand of the Father. There is no "Holy Grail" such as described by the book and Jesus doesn't have offspring. We are co-heirs with Him.

It really makes me sad and angry that many Christians do not read Scripture and seek to have their minds renewed by His Word. Many run on almost pure emotionalism and they're swayed by so many winds of change.

Hi Gang! Sorry to wreck the bad news with some good news, but Da Kid, aka Jack, was advanced to the rank of Star Scout in the Boy Scouts of America at a Campfire Court Of Honor at the Spring Camporee here in Virginia.

He has been in for just over two years and is only 9 merit badges short of Eagle!

Dad is very proud of him!

stayed out of trouble

What does that mean? I'm not familiar with the phrase. 8>)

Janice brought tonights leftovers to me for lunch tomorrow. The frenchman wrangled me up an adult beverage. Good neighbors are a great thing.

I am very angry about this book. My sister ( yes, of course, the democrat one) read it and has completely given up on her faith. I have tried to reason with her, but I am not an "historian" and published author, so what do I know? Dan Brown is an evil man.

I'm so sorry to hear how you feel about The DiVinci Code and, I am especially sorry, to hear that your sister has completely given up on her faith.

I don't understand how people can be swayed by a novel. I've read most of Dan Brown's works - including The DiVinci Code and the book before that which is a precursor to TDC. They are just books, novels, stuff someone made up. There may be some history in them, but, as usual, the history part has been turned the way the author is going.

Sad that reading for pleasure has interfered in someones religious life.

Normally I would agree. But for some time the author has been making appearances in which he says that the publishers forced him to list the book as a novel, but the information within it is true. Go look at the displays in Borders or B. Dalton. People who aren't well-versed in history and media manipulation are going to fall prey to the book.

I read the book as a very good novel, lots of twists and turns. Dan Brown is a good writer of FICTION. It is too bad that your sister can't distinguish between fiction (alternate worlds) and reality.

Christ died on the cross to atone for my sins, and offered me the promise of eternal life. That is pretty well established, in my life at least, promises are fulfilled, regardless of how tough my life might be at any given moment.

I enjoyed the book. It was well written. It isn't about reality, any more than Star Trek is about reality.

Some folks just have minds that are so open that their brain falls out. ;>)

I too have read Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code and thought they were an exciting read, but fiction. There is some historical background but as a life long Catholic, I recognized that. There has always been an element of "mystery" attached to the Vatican with lots of rumors but that will be true of anything with a history as long as theirs. The mystery I speak of has to do with the inner workings and I found that part interesting though probably not true. I plan to see the movie just for the scenery, locations, if nothing else.

Here's our charming forecast: low of 35, thunderstorms tonight, over an inch of rain possible, wind advisory starting at 3:00, rain and snow tomorrow with gusts possibly over 50 mph.

Yuck.
