Boring song crowd???? Hardly unless you consider classic songs boring. Personally I find most of today's modern stuff (and that includes the stuff that Chris screams every week) to be generic, overproduced crap that is hard to distinguish from one band to another.

What I liked about Paris was that she took classic music and made it a bit more modern. Give her 4 more years and compare her to where Kat is today and there would be no comparison.

I guess I do. I'm a classic rock fan from the 70's so yeah he's sung nothing that's really appealed to me. (but I'm not knocking his great voice)

Paris appealed to me more than Elliot last night and they were both in my bottom two only reversed.

I think Elliot is gone next and I couldn't begin to predict whose next until I hear their songs.

My litmus test is if I'd turn the channel when driving in my car.

Amen to that.

I'll be voting Taylor after Elliott leaves....

Agreed. So many singers in the '60s and the '70s wrote and performed songs that they actually believed in, and it was a mark of honor to be creative and individual.

No, so many bypass that for a quick ticket to the top of the charts (and just as quick a fall)

I do as well. Unfortunately, that's what sells.

I love Chris. However, my least favorite songs he does have been the "new" ones like "What If" and "I Dare You".

I loved his cover of "Renegade" and "I Walk the Line". I have also found some of his stuff he did with his band, Absent Element, and enjoyed it as well. It was not a repetitive scream fest like "What If".

I miss good rock like we had in the 70's and 80's - Def Leopard, Aerosmith, Styx, Queen, etc. A lot of that music is timeless and I think we'll still be hearing those "old" songs for years to come.
