They also didn't apologize to Kevin Covais for comparing him on screen to Chicken Little. I thought that was extremely nasty and uncalled for. Yeah, right up there with suggesting that Taylor is drunk week after week. They find their ways to influence voting.
To: Netizen
And once again if the voting people are that easily influenced then it's their own fault.
As far as the contestants are concerned they know going into it things get nasty in this business. You stick your head above the crowd you're going to get shot at.

Now that we're down to five it's obvious who the AI powers think are the most marketable. So they will do everything possible to influence the outcome so it's a Chris-Kat finale.

You're good and being able to tell who would be good at what type of songs. I picked 10 from the top position of 12 of 1976 list. Thoughts?
1. Leo Sayer - You Make Me Feel Like Dancing
2. Chicago - If You Leave Me Now
3. KC & The Sunshine Band - (Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty (this one I stuck in for grins, though I think he could make it his own and make it work)
4. Gordon Lightfoot - The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald (I can't help but wonder how Taylor might bring this song alive)
5. Steve Miller Band - Fly Like an Eagle
6. Bob Seger - Night Moves
7. Engelbert Humperdinck - After the Lovin'
8. Bay City Rollers - Money Honey
9. Neil Diamond - If You Know What I Mean (I'm alsways surprised that no one does Neil Diamind, maybe they can't get clearance?)
10. Thin Lizzy - The Boys Are Back in Town

This is suppose to be a fun show, and a fun thread, the show is still fun, but this thread is getting way to serious, looking for consipiacies and drunks:). I agree 100%.

Smile...thanks for the chance to have a little fun and share song ideas.
Well, starting with Katharine, I want to see her do something other than a power ballad. So it has to be #1 or #3 for her.
Chris would have to do 'Fly Like An Eagle.'
I'd like Taylor to do some Neil Diamond.
Paris would have to do #3 if Kat doesn't, or maybe #10.
Elliott would do Bob Seger.

Hi, Wolfstar :)
(Pickler) She's no dummy
I agree. For better or worse, she knew what she was doing.
I wish her the best in whatever she does. She might make a pretty good co-host on a show like Good Day Live. She has a pleasant personality and she is cute--I can't deny that :)

Oh good heavens! Seeing those birth years makes me feel like a mummy. Yikes, I was thinking the same thing. McPhee was born in 1985??? Oy!

i don;t know how he could get it into a minute and a half, but I just got chills imagining Taylor singing Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.
For current Top 10 -- I think Taylor could absolutely bring the house down with BELIEVE by Brooks and Dunn
Another show possible show stopper next tuesday -- You're Beautiful, James Blunt sung by Elliot.

That's what's so much fun about this thread. We can and do disagree without beating up on each other. :) That's true of you and all the regular posters here (thank goodness :)
But the visitor last night doesn't seem to understand that.

I thought he was a fun performer and very refreshing at first and am sure that he is talented, but I kept waiting week after week for his "big performance" with disappointment. I'm still waiting. Well put. I've been thinking the same thing.
And welcome to the thread :)

I made that list with Taylor in mind. Remember its from 1976, the year he was born. The others couldn't do them.
Someone posted the date of birth for the others but I didn't keep track.
Very depressing. I graduated from high school in 1976. *sigh*
We had a house overlooking Lake Erie, with steps leading down the cliff to the beach if you would call jagged rocks a beach! My dad used to work on ore boats and we could see ore boats from the cliff sometimes, way out in the distance. Probably just one of the reasons that I like the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

I haven't had a chance to look and see what is current on billboard. Does it have to be this week?

I didn't feel that old until I saw that Paris was born in '89! LOL! That is a little unsettling isn't it?
