I guess the classical artists who worked with the idols (this week) and Queen, both of whom were the most complimentary of Paris and the classical artists liked Catherine as well (my two favorites) know nothing about music either.
BTW, I've had YEARS of muscial training and know a good lot about it.
Randy, the guy who refers BOTH to women and men as DUDES (such class).....I'll pass on his judgement.

That's the same reason I think Kellie's "dumb blonde" routine was genuine.
Well lucky for Kellie! She can be drunk the day her dad gets out of prison.....
To: I'm ALL Right!
I know but when some guy comes on with his "expert" opinion and trashes me and everyone else who enjoys this show, I want to scream....who the heck does he think he is....

Taylor's hang-dog look is bothering me. I'm not so sure that he is enjoying this farce any longer. If the fans are sensing that this thing is rigged, imagine what it's like to actually have to live it. Its like when his first song gets sacked after days of practice that he just picks the worst song and that only hurts him. He should have a larger repetoire to draw from.
If its past idol songs next week, that should be interesting. Let's see what happened when Lisa Tucker sang Since U bBeen Gone? Oh yeah she was compared to Clarkson and found lacking. Should be another bad week coming up.
As an aside the news just said that a light bulb exploded in Terri Hatcher's eye and she has to wear a patch over her eye.

If it was rigged someone would have heard something by now. Someone always talks....
There have been rumors (nothing more proven) of insiders saying similar things of showrigging. Also, the George Huff family has gone on record talking of AI shenanigans. And don't forget the Clintonesque whitewashing of the Paula sex scandal.
All in all, it's only TV, so any real scandal would be rather confined anyhow. But I for one don't like the manipulation, and it's not really just about Taylor Hicks.
I guess I fell for the whole innocence and pure-Americana thing, but the more I see, the more the veil is lifted.

Ahem, but I think this....
is more like it! :)

****AND I LOVE TAYLOR!!!! And according to folks who know Taylor, he's a great guy and there's NOTHING phoney about him....****
There was a little report on the local news about a group a friends of Taylor who went to school with him at Auburn. One woman in the group said Taylor sang Georgia On My Mind at her wedding and she said he was great. Taylor has a chance to win if they let me go as appossed to hamstringing people with these weird music genres.

Its like when his first song gets sacked after days of practice that he just picks the worst song and that only hurts him.I believe I read that when his first song choice gets canned at that late date, he has to sing something the band already knows. So he doesn't really get to choose it.

***The problem that many people have with her is that they do not buy the story that she has been telling.***
Nice try Robby...you have one poster who said she'll be in Hustler and another that said she's a drag queen. Are you saying her father didn't rally go to jail? You guys must all share Howard Deans heart.
