Paris really didn't need this competition and that is still fairly irksome. Maybe she wanted to do it on her own instead of getting in on the coattails of relatives, like Lisa Marie Presley tried to do! LOL

Taylor wasn't that good this week and frankly he has not been singing like the front runner in many shows.
I can see why Chris was in the two after his performance last night. (plus seeing him in the bottom 3 last week probably kicked some people in the ass) Kat has her fans and I am certain that they were pissed about the judges comments.
Conspiracy to screw Taylor? I don't buy it. If he has the highest vote total each week then there's no reason to bone him. Fans buy records.

we've kind of gotten to know them, grow attached to themI think that's it. Pickler *was* entertaining--in her own way. But the thought of her being the next Idol--and Simon's shameless pimping--made me really dislike her.
She can't sing very well, but maybe she can't get some acting gigs out of this. I don't want her to go home to Albemarle. (I've been to Albemarle!)

Every week Simon says something negative about Taylor and he's right. This week Simon said Taylor's nothing more than a lounge singer. Simon's right.
The guy has a range of about five notes. Anyone who thinks Taylor is good in my opinion has no taste and knows NOTHING about singing and music. And he's an arrogant phony to boot.

I believe in DI's accuracy based on their performance the last 4-6 weeks. I also know Taylor has consistently had song choices pulled at a late hour. I also know Chris gets the closing spot more than anyone else. I also know they over-praise Kat one week, then apologize for correctly pointing out how bad she sounds when she tries to sing powerful the next week. We all have our opinions - I don't trust the "purity" of the show anymore. The judges are all redundantly inconsistent, catty, and silly. The show is becoming a parody of itself.
