Got 2 votes each in for the Pickle (can't let her go now), Taylor and Katherine (who I think did a good job, tho started out a little weak). What's with all of them tonight? None were outstanding. They must be having late night parties or sumthin. Hope they pick it up a notch for next week. Bottom 3....Lisa, Ace and Bucky
I don't honestly think Ace is gay (then again, I didn't realize Manilow was gay until last week). Ace just seems ... effeminate.

I didn't like that all the songs had to be truncated tonight because of time limitations. The two best tonight were Taylor and Paris (IMHO).
Chris was absolutely demonic. What a horrid "song" and what an awful performance. Might as well make Marilyn Manson the American Idol.
Elliott was game for attempting to look like an Amish farmer, sing like a hip-hop boy, and dance like Paula, all at the same time. Great multi-tasking.
Bucky was cute and in his element, but if I did not have closed captioning, I would not have been able to make out a single word.
Mandisa--why did you consent to be put in those tight jeans? No wonder the high notes were sharp!
Ace caressing his scar--well, what can I say--one of the show's most bizarre moments. What will he do next week...sing Summertime while breastfeeding a kitten?
Paris was super tonight. No one can beat that girl's energy and enthusiasm.
Taylor was fine. Thank God he stood in one place and really sang his heart out.
Pickler wasn't too bad tonight. She is Dolly Parton Lite.
