* According to posters on the Gray Charles board, Kelly Clarkson, the original American Idol picked Taylor has her fav to win.

Kelly's been in Europe since early this year, got sick toward the end of her tour and had to cancel Paris and Israel. She's now on vacation, heads back to Texas for her birthday, then heads to Asia to MC the MTV Asia Awards. She may indeed be a fan of Taylor, but how she got the time to watch the show and know who's who on it this year is a mystery to me.

Isn't that when we got Nadia and the giant mohawk that got her voted off the show?

Yeah, but I think she skated by that week and was voted off the next. But it was the mohawk that killed her--nobody could forget it :o

Yikes!

Nadia seems to have totally dropped out of the public eye. She's someone I thought would have tried to continue on with her show biz career. Maybe do some modeling and acting. She's a pretty girl and a real stylish clothes horse.

This article from London is a month old. How come we only found out about Seacrest and Hatcher a week or so ago. Maybe the Brits have better gossip reporters than we do.

Wednesday March 15, 12:07 PM
Teri Hatcher finds love again

London, Mar.15 (ANI): Rumours are abuzz that ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Terri Hatcher has a new man in her life, and it’s none other than Ryan Seacrest, the host of the popular reality TV show ‘American Idol’.

A friend of the star, who has gone through a series of bad relationships, said that she was very happy with Seacrest, and that she really enjoyed his company.

“Teri really enjoys his company,” The Sun quoted the friend, as saying.

Friends of the actress are now hoping that Seacrest, who happens to be ten years junior to Hatcher, will help mend her broken heart.

I was bummed that Beck didn't talk about Idol or 24 this week. He did talk a bit about House, but that was it.
I'm not sure when his TV show's going to start. I heard some time in April so it should be coming soon.

I heard him talk about House today. I had watched House last night and was shocked by the one-liners he was talking about. :) Such a riot of a show.

Good post!

The way she (McPhee) hides behind her clothes makes me think that she may have issues with her body image. Why? I don't know.

That's the only explanation that makes sense to me, and I don't know why either. She has an IDEAL body, IMO. But she hides it with baggy blouses.

She has the confidence to sing in front of millions of people, but not the confidence to wear form-fitting clothes ... I don't get it--especially when Mandisa is standing beside her wearing those gigantic blue jeans.

I posted the lyrics to 'Making Memories Of Us' and they seemed to help.

They sure did and I'll never forget that :)

The mohawk of doom.

Tradesports has the bottom 3 as:

Bucky $27
Ace $25
Mandisa $22.8

AOL Poll has
1) Katherine
2) Kellie
3) Chris
4) Taylor
5) Elliott
6) Ace
7) Mandisa
8) Paris
9) Bucky

It should be noted that Kathrine was either #1 or #2 last week when she was on the bottom 3. But they did pick Lisa to go last week and Chicken Little the week before.

So, I'd say Mandisa's in trouble but Bucky will be most likely to go. Why? Bad song choice...

Oh...BTW...to answer your question, tough choice but I'd have to pick Shania!

I don't think Pickler was all that good. She just seemed good in contrast to the performances that came before her, because at least she was lively.

Very true.

I can't predict tonight's loser. Melissa, Pee Wee and Lisa were obviously on the low rungs of the ladder. Now that they're gone, it could be anybody.

I found this chart on some site called zabasearch.com

They claim to have accurately predicted the losers every week, but I don't see any evidence of that.

So for what it's worth (which probably isn't much) they predict Paris gets the boot tonight. They also say that the Gherkin is getting the most votes. I don't believe either is true.

I have every Queen cd. All of them. Including the "Flash Gordon" and "Highlander" (A Kind of Magic) soundtracks that were nearly impossible to find for many years. I don't consider myself weird. I just love music, and Queen was one of the best bands ever, IMO.

I don't care what songs they sing, as long as Chris doesn't do another ballad, and Kat does something that will show off her talent. They are all good. :)

Since this is my first post in this thread, here are my wishes/predictions... Been rooting (although not voting) for Chris and Katherine since the top 24. Well, ok, I voted for Chris twice, but only one time each night, and apparantly it doesn't really count unless you hit redial for the full two hours!

Winner - Chris

2nd - Kat

3rd - Kellie

The Rest - Don't give a *bleep*

BTW, I disagree about Constantine nailing Bohemian Rhapsody last year. I thought he murdered it. Did he get voted off after that performance?

I think he survived two or three more weeks after that, but you're right, that performance was horrible. All I remember is his greasy hair flying all over the place.

Personally, I like the tone and depth of Taylor's and Chris's voices

Me too. Chris's more than Taylor's lately.
