I didn't like Katherine's choice, but I thought her vocals were better than most. I'd be afraid of anyone attempting Alison Krause!

It is a Gary Allen song - sort of about his wife who committed suicide last year....depressing!

Are you keeping up with the voting in KC tonight? Nope, I'm not from there. It's my middle and last initial.
To: TonyWpi
I'm praying someone will start a website for McKinney like they did for www.looterguy.com

It was an interesting night. Kellie, who I don't care for, sang I song that I absolutely abhor. Yet, I admit she did incredible. Chris, however, gave me chills with one of my favorite songs. All the others paled in comparison to these two. I give Chris the top spot since he is not by nature a country singer. I thought he sounded very close to Keith Urban tonight.

I didn't catch that. Did Allen write that song? Was it based on fact or someone else?

Yes, it would have made the cats hide under the bed. LOL!
She has such a lovely, light, pure voice that it's hard to match.

wonder if AI gives cut-rate tickets to has-been celebrities just so they have some names to flash on the screen. I don't know--it's odd that those two were there. They probably have a movie to promote. Either that or they couldn't find the local DNC fundraiser :)

He was the best of a tepid night.
And yet any one of his performances could be taken directly from the AI soundtrack and released as a pop single successfully.
Personally, I hate pop music these days. My favorite among the is Taylor Hicks, but his post-show success will not be as a pop star, rather more in R&B. All the better.
