The only problem I see with Elvis week is that the songs are so overdone that they're cheesy now. I think the best selections will be those that aren't as well-known. And NO BALLADS. : ) I wonder if they will have to do one fast and one slow. Best one I see for Chris that's fast is Jailhouse Rock. Maybe Little Less Conversation. Slows ones are a little harder to pick for him.

I just thought of something. If Simon Cowell gets sick, Hugh Laurie (Dr. House) could take his place. He could use his real voice (British) and make "House like" comments about the contestants. That could be a hoot!

Yes but Elliot didn't deserve bottom 2. :( We voted 2 straight hours for him and only got through 7 times....

Katharine was raised to be a pampered princess. It is very evident. Probably has never had a real hardship in her life. When one does come her way, she won't know how to cope, because mom and dad have done it for her. I feel sorry for her in a way.

Chris could do "I can't help falling in love" to show his "sensitive side." The girls would swoon over him.
Taylor could pretty much sing anything, but up-tempo is best. I like the idea of "Jail-house Rock."
Elliott could do "Suspicions Minds." He would do well on that middle part too. It could show his voice off a bit.
Better yet, "One Night With You" or "The Wonder of You." Both are powerhouse vocal songs.
Katharine? Maybe "Burning Love??" Kellie would have done better with that one. I think Kat is going to have the hardest time with this week, being a girl.
Any way you look at it, this is the best "Top 4" in Idol history. (Collectively...that is.)

Me too. This is my first season to watch. We got hooked on it because they run last season on Friday nights on USA network right after Monk. NOw I am hooked on 24, AI, Monk and House. Funny how 3 of the shows are FOX shows. :)

I'm kind of hoping Taylor will do All Shook Up, there are places he can drop in whooo's, and One Night. One Night is bluesy so I think he could do really well with that.
