OK, new thread for the next week, celebrating the first of many Million point producers – our very own Klutz_Dohanger!
First, a big shout out to the SETI and BOINC members who have added CPUs to the effort. Remember, its Team 36120, NOT Team 0.
Next, congrats to all for bumping our team up to 1011 processors and 305 user names. We have a number of new users in the team, with over 50 computers from GetLoaded.com, a trucking support website, all contributing while their owners ply our freeways keeping the nation moving.
We now have 57 members who have contributed at least 10,000 points each. Woo-Hoo!
Even more impressive, our team now boasts 225 members who have folded at least 1,000 points. That is more than the entire number of folders for our erstwhile left-wing environazi competitors!
Free Republic Folding@Home Stats Page
On the global front, Free Republic Folders is now listed at # 157. We will be in the Top 150 on Saturday!
As we continue to grow there are a number of milestones coming around the bend:
Top 150 by March 30
Top 100 by the end of the May
We have 3,350,000 points so far and have folded over 20,000 WU. We now fold over a million points per month, each and every month! Fantastic!
Thanks again to all that are helping us advance science and promote the peaceful use of computers.
Extreme Overclockers Stats for Free Republic
Next team we'll overtake:
LAN Party Association of New England
TITS ----> ( . Y . ) <---- TITS
YoshiForums
We finally have 'em right where we want 'em - just in front of us.
Welcome back, LSimpson!
Over 2600 points on Saturday.
Sunday morning laundry bump
Looks like AndyK helped you get going again. Let me know if you're still having problems, and I can walk you through some stuff.
Thanks!
Finally got around to checking the script, and getting it loaded and tested on the first machine.
Pretty Slick there EGON... now, time for the stress test on your server, once I start running the script out to the various computers. I'll start by putting them at on a 120 minute schedule.
That's something I wish that I hadn't bypassed in the early part of my career - programming. I admire those of you who can make sense out of the ( )_+ stuff.
Egon,
Thanks for all your hard work on the monitor. I just borged my laptop & the first unit it got was the 2107 protien with the 20 million steps - ugghh - like it's ever gonna finish that, LOL.
I ran the script on the laptop, but it's not showing up on the upload page. Does it have to complete a WU first or maybe have a percentage higher than 0 ?
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
RT
They're behind us now :)
Just wait till you get the new 2401!

You should get instant results. Make sure you run the script manually first, by double-clicking it from File Explorer. We're finding that, quite often, Windows Firewall wants confirmation from the user before allowing the script to communicate. If you just run it from the scheduler, without running manually first, nothing will happen.
Let me know if this doesn't work, and we'll go to the log.
Yeah, this should be a good test of DCOM!
"Make sure you run the script manually first, by double-clicking it from File Explorer."
I did, several times, but Windows never asked me to OK the script like it did on my desktop system. I'm not running Windows(XP) firewall because I'm using ZoneAlarm which has not given any alerts & no indication in it's logs that it might have blocked the script. If you have time, would you see if your logs show that I even connected to add this silly laptop? Thanks.

Just wait 'till my part-timers kick in.
(I hope)
Got something I want to try. I'll Freepmail you...
ok - great, & thanks.
Bump
I guess I posted as SW6906_2 to boost our teams total # of computers, not so much thinking I wanted to have my personal statistics rank higher. What would you prefer I do?
